Just 3km from the city centre of Saint-Astier, a beautiful house of the 1970's surrounded by a garden where it is good to rest, especially by the flat-bottomed pool. Upstairs, four attic well-designed rooms with wonderful bedding. Note that the two large rooms, Le Vallon and La Source have shower rooms with private toilets. An attractive property, the table d'hote is to be booked, for a stay or a stopover on hiking trails.

Joëlle and Gilles Richard welcome you to their guest house in Nadaillac called "the dry" because no stream does cross the territory... Each room has its own bathroom (shower and toilet). You can choose between the Provencal, the Romantica or African. All three are tastefully decorated. The environment of Faget consists of a large park in the heart of which there is a pool and annexes as the bread oven and barn with its carriage door.

Located 6 km from Sarlat, the charming rooms and the table d'hôtes of Maarten and Karen llegems are arranged in a former farmhouse on the 18th century farmhouse. The spacious and comfortable guest rooms, surrounded by a very large partially wooded garden, are distributed in separate buildings typical of Périgord. A very particular effort has been made to the quality of the bedding, insulation and layout of the bathrooms with large showers. The swimming pool, away from the buildings, provides a moment of calm and relaxation. At lunchtime, a picnic can be prepared for you and on some evenings, upon reservation, the table d'hôte is open. The cuisine is based on market produce.

Anouk and Gilles Roche welcome you to their one-hectare wooded and landscaped estate. At your disposal are 5 guest rooms, facing south with a view of the park and two semi-detached cottages made of Périgord blond stone. You can take advantage of the place to stroll, read, rest, swim and discover the Périgord noir. Short thematic stays: gourmet, golf or cooking workshops are organised. The couple opens their table d'hôtes: "gourmet plates" made up of slices of dried duck breast, duck rillettes, foie gras, salad, cheese or menu such as a foie gras terrine, a duck breast with orange sauce, a risotto with mushrooms, then a cabécou breaded with walnuts and finally for dessert, a panna cotta with chestnut cream, or fresh and frozen raspberries accompanied by a lemon mousse.

Marnic and Carine welcome you in their little happiness, an estate with a swimming pool, located very close to Bessède's state-owned forest, and a few minutes from Belvès, a medieval city with seven steeples and the most beautiful village in France. A restored former farmhouse of the 18th century houses 3 guest rooms and an adjoining contemporary building, in Périgord style, houses 2 cottages. Visits, sports and relaxation can be on the menu of your stay, through the many hiking departures or mountain bike tours. In the evening, you can share a nice moment around an authentic cuisine prepared by the masters of the house.

Stay in a fortified house, fully restored and dating back to the thirteenth century, which was once a strategic outpost for the medieval village of Issigeac. On the first floor, she has installed three spacious guest rooms, offering beautiful volumes. It is the perfect place to recharge your batteries for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The atmosphere is very cosy with exposed beams and oak flooring. We like the access to a heated swimming pool and the large garden overlooking the fields as far as the eye can see.

Jenny and Virginie wanted to give a new meaning to her life, this is what they wanted, as they fell under the spell of this small Périgord hamlet and decided, 9 years ago, to settle there and rehabilitate this former 16th century sharecropper's house, with its wooded park of over one hectare. They have transformed it into a guest house with three simple and cocooning rooms and a gîte. On the way to the senses, in this bucolic setting, you will enjoy the singing of birds, wood fires, forests, the flight of birds of prey, starry nights and Jenny's local cuisine, which even gives you lessons to learn how to work with fattened ducks and the good recipes of the Périgord. A "gourmet stay" package with overnight stay, dinner and cooking workshop is also available. You can also find homemade jams or preserves and other gourmet products from local producers in the small shop. Nearby, sightseeing tours and hikes allow you to discover the Black Périgord. Built in a park planted with centenary trees, this Périgord manor has been restored in respect for tradition. It is decorated with a lake and beautiful swimming pool. Francette, Florence and Stéphane Desmette gladly welcome you by offering five guest rooms all equipped with a private bathroom. For a more unusual stay but equally comfortable, you can choose to stay in a room for two people in the tree house or a cottage for 5 people perched in a tree, equipped with a bathroom. In the evening, table d'hôtes on reservation from 4 guests with complete menu; wine included.

Change of scenery is guaranteed in the forest, close to the beautiful medieval village of Urval, its church, its communal oven... These huts perched for two to six persons become a real refuge, far from the consumer society, to enjoy nature and to relax. Children are the first to love these chalets on stilts for a better view on the Dordogne valley. To the charm of the wooden house is added modern comfort (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.): two huts connected via bridges, one with living room, kitchen and bathroom, the other with a bedroom and bathroom, the last with only one room, a terrace for the whole and linen hanging. Ready-made beds and towels. On this wooded place of 2.5 acres, we liked to become a modern times Robinson Crusoé, without being far from the restaurants, the beaches of the Dordogne and the sites to visit.
