Between Bergerac and Périgueux, south of the village of Vergt, this large family home welcomes you for a day, a week or more. You'll be able to choose between rooms, with or without table d'hôte, and gîtes. The 3-hectare park gives you the chance to relax by the pool or in the vegetable garden. Your hosts organize cookery courses to teach you all about duck, pig and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Aidan is Australian and Catherine speaks five languages. Don't hesitate to talk to them about their travels.

Gîtes de France (3 épis). Open all year round. Reception until 20h. 3 rooms. Low season : double room from 75 €. High season : double room from 85 € to 90 €. Half-board : 19 € (cold plates + soup on request at 12 €). Breakfast included. Parking. 2 gîtes (2 and 4 persons) studio from 100€ the night or 400€ the week in low season, the annex 120€ the night or 350€ the week in low season. Plus possibility of short stays in low season. Catering (table d'hôte on request). Satellite TV. Excursions (duck cooking course, foie gras preserves and other preserves according to season).

La Maison Croix du Sud is a bucolic accommodation located in Saint-Amand-De-Vergt, forty minutes from Sarlat. This corner of paradise in the Dordogne offers a range of accommodation with breathtaking views. You can choose between three guest rooms, a self-contained studio (sleeps two) and, in a superb annex, a large self-contained studio (sleeps four ). A heated swimming pool is available from mid-April to October 1, as well as a summer kitchen with barbecue. In the evening, you can enjoy a quiet drink on one of the terraces. During the high season ,the house can be booked for table d'hôtes. And for those arriving late ,a cold plate and soup can be prepared on request during the winter months. During your stay, you can go hiking, and visit the vineyards, Bergerac and Pécharmant castles not far from the house. A choice location for your stay in Saint-Amand-de-Vergt!
