LA MARIE GALANTE
Read moreListening to the sound of the waves, settle into the small fisherman's house that turns its back on the sea. La Marie Galante is a typical restaurant in the village of Audresselles where the pots are constantly cooking the best local specialities: lobster, crab, oysters, langoustines, clams or grey shrimp. The chef skillfully accommodates seasonal fish in original sauces: a word of advice, let yourself be tempted by "La Marée du jour". The shack is charming and neat, and the marine references are in full swing inside. The price-quality ratio is valid. Cute and typical, the restaurant has an excellent reputation in the area

LA DIGUE
Read moreWith its beautiful view of the sea and its friendly staff, this small restaurant seduces. An address, certainly modest, but warm where is ideal for a stop-by. The dish is generous: steak with shallot, salmon steak with tarragon, skate wing with capers or sole meunière, there is enough to spend a pleasant time. Quantity and quality! It is unpretentious and the spontaneity takes on all its significance here.

LE ROI DE LA MOULE
Read moreLe Roi de la Moule is one of the Dunkirk's best addresses. It is also one of the good addresses on the seawall. And it's well deserved, as it's a bit off-centre (and therefore quieter) when you head towards the Parc du Vent. After enjoying a walk, sit on the covered terrace facing the sea, on the terrace open onto the dike, or even on the terrace with your feet in the sand in high season (the sixty or so places on the sand are reserved for a drink or tapas). Mussel is of course queen on the menu! Prepared in the traditional way, they can be served in a Flemish-style pot (cooked in beer and served with prawns, almonds and shellfish) and are accompanied by delicious crispy chips. You can also dare to try mussels mouclade-style, Provençal-style or Italian-style! To accompany this essential dish, don't hesitate to order a good beer from the northern breweries. The chef also offers seafood platters (a good address in this matter!), shellfish to stay on the sea side. And grills and foie gras on the land side. The restaurant is open on Mondays.
