In this former fishing net factory, you will learn all about local fishing. The life of men on board a 25-meter trawler is described. To discover: more than 500 animal species, life-size boat reconstitutions, a quiz on fishing techniques, initiation to the design of marine knots, the manipulation of navigation instruments... One-hour guided tours, conducted by former fishermen, are offered every 30 minutes, and even cooking classes. Exciting!

The Dunkirk conurbation is crossed by 53 km of the Eurovéloroute^no. 4. On this section, you can make several beautiful walks in Grand-Fort-Philippe or connect the Galamé Park of Loon-Plage to the lake of Puythouck. The longest section is the one from the town hall of Bray-Dunes to Rosendaël. On this nice and safe track, you will ride along the coast from Bray-Dunes to Leffrinckoucke and its maritime landscapes.

They allow you to discover, while walking, another facet of Le Touquet under its natural aspect, starting from the Palais de l'Europe. If you are tempted by the discovery of the bay, the Le Touquet villas and the local flora, take the Daphné or La Pomme de Pin trails which will offer you superb views at the price of a few short climbs and winding detours in the shade of the trees. The Feuille de Chêne trail crosses the forest to meet its rich flora and fauna. The facilities of the equestrian park of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage in an exceptional place, in the middle of the 65 hectares of the racecourse, have made it a reference for more than 40 years. The activities start from 2 years old with the baby pony. Courses all year round, training courses, rides on the beach, horse therapy... A multitude of activities are offered. The Buckthorn is a 13 km walk to discover Le Touquet in natural surroundings. For this you go up the boulevard of La to the park of Canche Bay, where seals like to enjoy. Cross the sea for an hour to reach the dune area, south of the station. You will take a wide winding road that crosses the Dit À, and will bring you back gradually to the city. Discover the trike, this three-wheeled bike that can be ridden lying down. The appointment is made at the Fort-Louis park in Coudekerque-Branche. There, you are at the doors of one to three hours of a ride according to the chosen formula. The one of 3 hours will allow you to join Bergues through the wood of the Forts. only 300 meters of tarmac, after that there are small paths. About ten minutes will be necessary for you to take in hand your trike after a small playful and educational sequence. Then you will be free to discover the Dunkerque countryside!

Myriam Pont is the local child who became the ambassador of a whole region distinguished in 2017 with the National Order of Merit. For 35 years, she has been fishing on foot on the Opal Coast and, all year round, in Calais, she sells her mussels and her creations such as soups and preserves. Her fishmonger's is now a member of the French Culinary College, a distinction that is awarded to only about 3,000 producers. This shows the quality of the products that can be found here. Located at Oye-Plage, the Platier d'Oye Nature Reserve is the first French stopover for migratory birds. On this large flat area where dunes, sandy banks and stretches of water mingle, twenty species of mammals, such as the Highland Scottish cow, 230 species of birds and several species of amphibians, including the calamite toad and the green frog, live side by side. The flora is also richly represented, with 361 species, six of which are nationally protected. The hiker will recognize the oyat, a small plant used to fix the dune, the obione, the sea buckthorn or the Curtis violet. A unique place to observe the fauna and flora of the coast and a very nice walk to do with the family. Tip: when the weather is nice, bring a hat and sun cream as there are very few shady areas. Street areas, ramps, bowls, the sliding area welcomes young people from 6 years old with different time slots depending on whether the children are over or under 11 years old. Schedules reserved for the youngest between 6 and 10 years old. Reservations are highly recommended. Qualified sports educators are present to inform and educate the riders.

The Golf du Touquet is considered as one of the most beautiful complexes of France between sea, dunes and forests. Two 18-hole courses and a 9-hole course are available. The Parcours de la Forêt, inaugurated in 1904, takes the golfer to the heart of the pine forest. The other 18-hole course offers a breathtaking view and has hosted the French Open several times. You want to discover Bourbourg and its surroundings? Nothing better than to follow the walking tour of the Quathove. Start your walk in front of the tourist office and walk through the small streets of the city. Pass by the turret of the Withof, an old farmhouse that was once part of the destroyed castle. On your way, you will see the mountain of Watten and you will walk through the countryside surrounded by wateringues, this network of ditches created to drain the marshes and evacuate the water towards the sea.
