Restaurant offering traditional northern cuisine in Bergues.

When strolling towards the Porte de Dunkerque, it is impossible to miss the façade of the Taverne Vauban. The establishment was taken over in December 2017 by Lætitia Trelcat. She has given this former guardroom a facelift. On the menu, traditional Northern cuisine: waterzoï, carbonnade, potjevleesch, saddle of rabbit, pork shank with beer... The plus of the tavern is its terrace and its small outdoor lounge at the foot of the city walls, and on the banks of one of the oldest canals in France, the Bergues canal.

Une très très bonne table je recommande a 100,% très bon service avec le personnel est le repas c'était excellent pour ma part j'ai pris le jambonneau ce fût une tuerie pour moi c'est le meilleur que j'ai mangé et pour la quantité ce fût du bonheur et les frites excellente très très bon repas

Nous sommes venus en famille pour l'anniversaire de ma maman, nous avons très bien mangé, rapport qualité prix parfait ! Service rapide. Et nous avons adoré que le personnel et les autres clients aient joué le jeu d'avoir souhaité l'anniversaire de ma maman ! Une ambiance très convivial et familiale ! Mention très bien pour les serveurs qui sont aimable, serviable et très sympathique.

Service impeccable. Carbonnade très bonne de même que les profiteroles maisons. Le seul bémol a été le burger chti dans lequel il y avait de la moutarde voir un peu trop. ....quo n' était pas signalé sur la carte
