The Via Ferrata de Siala is for thrill-seekers and climbers alike, offering a vertical route that rewards adventurers with breathtaking panoramic views. Located halfway between Eaux-Bonnes and Gourette, this safe climbing route follows the Gave river, culminating in a 250-metre-long wall with a 120-metre vertical drop, with sections of varying difficulty. The route begins with a zip line, followed by a Nepalese bridge. Completing the course can take between 1 and 3 hours.

The reconstructed Piémont Pyrénéen route (GR-78) started from Carcassonne and reached Lourdes, St-Jean-Pied-de-Port (last stop before the border) before crossing the mountains to arrive at Roncesvalles. It links the Mediterranean with the Atlantic, and offers a rich heritage. This hike, often on hilltops, offers splendid panoramic views of the Pyrenees chain as it crosses the département. With a total distance of 594 km, the maximum altitude is 1,179 m, with a cumulative difference in altitude of 13,717 m.

In the village of Susmiou located at 3 km from Navarrenx, Hervé Baltar is a qualified fishing instructor-guide. He will allow you to discover the modern techniques for the fishing of salmonids: trout fario with the fly and the natural baits, Atlantic salmon and shad. This specialist of the Béarn gaves adapts his teaching to your level and to the water conditions to give you a maximum of chance to touch fish. You will discover the rivers and especially the Gave d'Oloron. This fishing guide has a lake where you can train all year round.

The Rafting and Canoeing Club was created in 1962 by the USCN (Union Sportive Coarraze-Nay). Thus, all year round, the inhabitants of the Gaves have the possibility to practice river descents, alone, with their family or in groups, supervised by professionals. For the novices, rafting allows to discover white water in complete safety. The most courageous or the most athletic can navigate on more autonomous boats (hot-dog, kayak). The club participates in numerous sports competitions, the good results of which are the pride of the establishment. Training courses are regularly offered in order to discover the discipline or to perfect one's practice.

The nautical center of Soeix extends over several hectares and proposes to all the sportsmen, amateurs or confirmed, of many activities of white water: the rafting, the canoe hot-dog or the hydrospeed, in the day, in weekend or in week. With more than 200 kilometers of navigable rivers around Oloron, the team of the nautical center assures you sliding outings full of adventures and this, from the discovery to the descent. The latter are done on the gaves of Aspe, Ossau, Saison and Oloron within a radius of 50 km. On the site, there is a base at the water's edge with parking, a picnic area and a comfortable changing room with hot shower. A great sporting idea!

The water is home to the 1,000 m² aquazone. If you like to relax under the sun, you'll find what you're looking for, but if you're eager for activities and discoveries, the 100 hectares of the site have many surprises in store for you! The fun zone upstairs offers easy routes, slake lines and a relaxation area for several climbers. Those who have already mastered the art can head for the first floor to perfect their skills. It's goal is to share this legacy that we have had privilege, to revive and to offer our members the opportunity to sail on board sailing boats "entrusts the men of this creation. The teaching, provided by music professionals, focuses on musical creation, the discovery of sounds, the soundscape and perception. Built at the end of the ^19th century on the lands of the Countess de Noailles, heiress of Beaumont, the court is an imposing monument in Pau. Built by the architect Virant, the court was described in 1930 by a historian as "the most beautiful court in France and perhaps in the world". After being transformed into a trinquet court, the Jeu de paume de Navarre association is working hard to maintain the hall's original activity. At the MJC, the Rock'n'roll Passion association offers weekly rock'n'roll classes all year round. This long-established rock'n'roll class in Pau offers quality lessons at an attractive price. Lessons are given by the association's own instructors or by other outside contributors, guided by a desire to pass on their know-how and enable participants to deepen and perfect various dances. This long-established club, founded in 1954, has proved its worth. Its objective today is not only to train competitors, but above all to teach this martial art from an early age. An Eveil judo section is perfectly orchestrated for 4- and 5-year-olds by state-certified instructors who also run classes for young and old alike, focusing on learning techniques, but also and above all on self-control: controlling violence, falls, balance, expression... A wide range of activities are taught, including judo of course, but also jujitsu and self-defence or taïso (body balance).

The Artiguelouve golf course, designed by Jean Garaïalde, has a Floridian feel with a theme of "between mountains and ocean". The 18-hole, par 70, 5,639-meter course features numerous doglegs, water hazards and large greens, and is divided into two sections. Pau Football Club (PFC) embodies the passion, determination and deep-rooted connection between soccer and the city of Pau. Founded in 1904, the soccer club has come a long way to become a local sporting institution. It has evolved over the decades, playing in various divisions of French soccer, and is currently ranked ^11th in Ligue 2, the country's second division. Pau FC has high ambitions for the future, seeking to strengthen its position in Ligue 2. In winter, nothing beats the experience of snowshoeing to conquer the mountains. In the Ossau valley, canyoning spots are numerous and popular in summer, offering magnificent sites. Then, with the arrival of the first cold spells, these spots sometimes become adorned with ice! Experienced canyoning enthusiasts can take on the icy walls with special equipment. For a first experience, the mid-range mountains, with their low temperatures and little snow, are ideal terrain for an introduction to canyoning. The seasons transform the experience, offering enthusiasts a year-round opportunity.

At an altitude of 1,400 metres on the slopes of the Col d'Aubisque, the Gourette resort offers a 14-hectare ski area specially designed for beginners, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Families and children alike appreciate the gentle slopes and playful facilities, such as the SnakeGliss, a descent on interlocking sledges forming a giant snake. Gourette, surrounded by peaks rising to 2,500 metres, offers a majestic setting for snow sports enthusiasts.

The ascent of the Peak of Pre by the Coutchets is a real winter mountaineering race, an impossible climb… or almost to nirvana! (indispensable: learn about snow quality and possibly take a high mountain guide)

Departing from Artouste, you have access to a variety of organized activities, supervised by professionals, that can take place on a half-day or full-day basis. Among these options, you can choose from hikes ranging from one day to several, with the possibility of spending the night in cabins or tents. Discover Lac d'Artouste and its walks from the train station at the foot of the dam. A 30-minute walk (easy) will take you to the lake. On site, a variety of activities are available for all ages and tastes. The Lakhoura peak rises imposingly from the horizon, offering a breathtaking spectacle of nature in all its splendor. Located on the border between France and Spain, the Lakhoura peak dominates valleys including the Belagua valley, the Saint-Engrâce valley and the Arres d'Any limestone massif, with peaks such as the Pic d'Arlas, Table des 3 rois, Ansabère and Sierra de Alano. This walk follows the border ridge between Pierre-Saint-Martin and Pic d'Orhy, crossing the gateway to Béarn and Haute-Soule.

There are 20 tracks (25 km), 13 lifts, 5 lifts, 6 ski lifts and 2 lifts.

Three different spaces, depending on each level:

・the "Mailhné" sector: altitude area with the Pyrenees boulevard, accessible for all levels, with 4,5 km of non-stop descent.

・the "Discovery" sector with the new "cool pist" on which boardercross and fun space are located.

・the "Smugglers" sector with a new, safe but non-damée track.

Just 2 km from the resort, the Braca forest is ideal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The 25 km of carefully marked trails offer routes for all levels of experience. Further on, an area dedicated to downhill skiing offers a 360° panoramic view of Béarn, the Pays Basque and the whole of the Barétous valley. Thrill-seekers can also try their hand at biathlon.

Laruns is a town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region of France. For adventure sports enthusiasts, there's a company called EXPERIENCE Canyon that offers canyoning activities. They offer a variety of products, such as canyoning gift cards, fields days of various levels, half-day canyoning in the Ossau Valley, training courses and more.

Sud-Ouest Montgolfière is a tourist ballooning agency based in Pau. They offer several balloon flight packages to discover the region's natural beauty. Once the flight has been scheduled, passengers are welcomed by the flight team, who explain the flight procedure and safety instructions. Passengers help prepare the balloon before boarding with the other passengers. The flight lasts at least 45 minutes, and includes safety briefings, participation in the inflation and storage of the balloon, a toast by the balloonist and the return to the launch site by car. Flights take place in the morning, and passengers can choose their launch site between the Pau region, Oloron Sainte Marie, Val d'Azun or Salies de Béarn. Fares vary according to the number of passengers and take-off location. We recommend that you book in advance and inform us of the weight of your passengers.
