PLAN LOCAL DE RANDONNÉES DE LA COMMUNAUTÉ DES COMMUNES DE LACQ-ORTHEZ
The local hiking plan offers 130 kilometres of trails for 14 loops, spread over 12 municipalities and articulated on the Compostela trail around the GR65. 60 routes are proposed throughout the territory. A large number of equipment was installed, including 119 wooden masts and engraved signage panels, about ten loop entrance panels on a wood shelter support and 10 wooden footbridges, built for the occasion. Of various lengths and difficulties, these trails allow you to discover all the interesting points of the surrounding villages (churches, forests, rivers, picturesque bridges...). It is well indicated with its yellow markings. During this journey, don't miss Lagor, divided in two between its view of the chimneys of Lacq and its natural landscapes, Maslacq, famous for its Béarnais roofs made of picon tiles, Laà-Mondrans, with the pigeon loft of the oustau of the Abadie de Mondrans, known as the Pierrette mill of the 18th century, Vielleségure, with its Gothic fortified church, Sauvelade and its abbey, a remarkable monument in the Béarn landscape, and finally Lacq with its basin and its history.
