Frédéric and Carine - GTE and ATE - have been living in the Ossau Valley for more than twenty-five years. They organize numerous excursions ranging from two to eight days per group of ten riders maximum in France and Spain, on both sides of the Pyrenees. Their cavalry includes Hispano-Arabs, almost all of whom were born in their own country. These horses, experienced in mountain trails, are very pleasant to ride, while the pack mules ensure the comfort of hikers. Among the many options offered by Chevauchée Pyrénéenne, you will find in the Plateau de Benou introductory courses to horseback riding in the mountains, a four-day package in the valley, a night or three days to share transhumance in the Ossau valley or simply take a one-hour tour, a walk in the forest or follow the tracks of the bear. Accommodation is in a gîte, refuge or bivouac. In high season, Chevauchée Pyrénéenne is located on the Benou plateau. A great place for horseback riding enthusiasts!
