History: A history of a family of four generations, that of the Tissages Moutet, a company created in 1913 by Jean-Baptiste Moutet, manufacturer of "pants ticking" for clothing, and of the famous "mantis à boeuf" clothes, which traditionally covered the horse's dog at work in order to protect them from insects.

In 1919, son Georges transformed the loom into mechanical weaving and mantis to beef became table linen. In 1967, it was Jacques Moutet who gave a new boost to the company by building an ultra-modern factory that would produce Jacquard.
