PLAN LOCAL DE RANDONNÉE
For walkers, nature lovers and the curious: the community of communes of Lacq-Orthez has two Local Hiking Plans (PLR) offering 60 itineraries throughout its territory. From Arthez-de-Béarn to Monein, on the Lacq basin, 22 walking routes are approved by the French Hiking Federation. They are completed by 5 mountain bike circuits and 6 mixed circuits, for bikes and walkers. Around Orthez, 4 mountain bike trails and 16 hiking trails are marked, including one in the historic heart of the town. To help you take full advantage of this natural heritage, two topo-guides are on sale in the tourist offices of the Cœur de Béarn and Béarn des gaves. Everyone will also be able to download free of charge from the websites of these organisations the individual sheets for each course.
