A wonderful walk from Larrau along the GR on one of the most spectacular and most frequented sites of the Western Pyrenees. The torrents have dug the ground, forming spectacular and long crevasses, the witness, these gorges of Holzarte! Following the marked path along the edge of the crevasse, we arrive at the junction of the Olhado and Olhadybia crevasses, at an altitude of 590 meters. There, the highlight of the walk begins as you approach the footbridge, a real suspension bridge over a bubbling torrent 160 meters below!

For thrill-seekers, try your hand at accrobranche and paintball! From beginners to the more athletic, there's something for everyone. Our operators will teach you the basics of safe tree climbing. The courses, which are accessible from age 12 upwards and range in height from 3 to 20 meters, are color-coded according to difficulty. For the little ones, the Ttiki park includes a mini-bridge and climbing wall. In summer, night-time outings are organized.

Here parents can play a game of indoor football or eat pizza at the I Fratelli restaurant without having to worry about their children! On 40 ha the racecourse of Pau is the second in France after Auteuil for obstacle races. As a showcase for the city, the Pau meeting has become a mark of sporting excellence in Pau. From December to February, the winter meeting consists of 30 days of races with 239 races including quintés broadcast live on television. Classified as a National Pole, the Pau racecourse, thanks to the richness of its program, the quality of its facilities for men and horses, the very high level of services offered to professionals and the public, has no equivalent. As a leading trading center, it also attracts buyers looking for the rare pearl.

The trail starts from the Sansanet picnic area, 2 km upstream from the forges d'Abel. The trail rises through pastures to the border, offering magnificent views of the Peyranère plateau and the Val d'Aspe massifs. Once at the border, the route follows the herd track to the 30-hectare Lac d'Estaens, with its legend of shepherds and a black ram haunting the area. Today, the lake supplies the Espélunguère hydroelectric power station.

The former domain is now public property, classified as a Sensitive Natural Area. It overlooks the city to the south. A path of 2.5 km length for 30 min to 1 hour of walking, marked out through wood leads the visitor to the top of the hill : view on Itxassou and the Basque Pyrenees. Picnic area. Anchored since 1986, in the heart of the Landes pine forest and on the edge of the ocean, this magnificent 27-hole golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, covers 84 hectares. Ranked 85th best course in the world by Golf Digest (outside the USA), the complex also includes: an international 18-hole "forest and ocean" course, a 9-hole "airial" course, a 30-station driving range (10 of which are covered), three putting greens and two practice bunkers on the Club-House driving range. Professionals or amateur players rub shoulders every day on this Aquitaine course.

You can choose between a 9-hole "Les Grands Lacs" course (Par 32, 2,172 m) and an 18-hole "Forêt & Océan" course (Par 71, 5,674 m). The driving range features twenty-five stations, seven of which are covered. So it's a real pleasure for golf lovers to be here in the heart of the Landes forest, close to Biscarrosse lake. Designed by Arnaud Massy, John Morrison and Charles Bouhana in 1927, the Golf of Hossegor was created in the middle of a pine and cork oak forest, on a sandy ground sheltered from the winds. With a typically British layout refined by Cabell Robinson in 2003, Hossegor is listed as one of the one thousand best golf courses in the world by the Rolex Book. Shorts, tank tops and jeans with holes in them are prohibited. Gentlemen are also asked to remove their caps or hats inside the clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in summer.

Le Carrousel Aquitain is an equestrian center and pony club offering a variety of services for riding enthusiasts. On a 4-hectare site, you'll find an enclosed stable with wooden boxes, an Olympic arena and a 40/20m riding arena. The pony club welcomes children aged 3 to 6 for group lessons on shetland ponies, while the riding center offers group lessons for beginners and advanced riders, for teenagers and adults. Boarding for horses and ponies is also available, with different formulas such as meadow or box. The center also offers various services to boarders, such as grooming and working. Hourly, half-day and full-day rides are available, as well as activities such as long rein work, breaking-in and horse therapy. The center also welcomes schoolchildren and groups, organizes internal and external competitions, and offers federal exams.

Golf d'Idron offers a 6-hole course on a 100% natural green and a 30-station driving range (8 of which are covered), as well as a driving range, wedging area and putting green. It's the ideal place to learn and practice, with the mountains as a backdrop. Private and group lessons are available for beginners, as well as for those wishing to perfect their game and obtain their license. The Idron golf course organizes friendly and federal competitions for youngsters and adults all year round. In the heart of the superb oak forest of Bastard, 3 kilometers of adventure await you! 12 courses, imagined and designed to delight everyone, from the youngest from 3 years old to thrill seekers. All the courses have a clever system of two karabiners, one of which cannot be unhooked. The best conditions are assured with the help of adorable and qualified supervisors. Among the sensational "workshops", we must mention the two most difficult (the bear and the owl) with Tarzan jumps, very high monkey bridges and stairs made of logs that can be trapping... the laughter and adrenaline are there.

From the beach of Erretegia to Bidart, the Coastal Trail winds along the Atlantic coast to the village of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. 13 km long, it takes 3:30 a. m. to complete the entire path, but it can be segmented at any time. For example, you can enjoy a round trip to Guétary port in 1:30 a. m. You will then have a beautiful view of the coastline, between beaches and cliffs. From Bidart, don't miss the Sainte-Madeleine Chapel and its pleasant panorama.

While the large ice surface (1,450 m²) allows young and old alike to enjoy the sport to the full, it is also home to the Hormadi Elite, the highest level (Magnus league) of ice hockey. Block'Out is one of the biggest bouldering gyms in France. In all, there's 1,100 m² of climbing surface, 45 boulders and 300 routes of 14 different levels. Just outside Bayonne and 10 minutes from Biarritz, this 18-hole, par 72, 5,646 m course, designed by American architect Rocky Roquemore, is set in superb surroundings on the edge of an oak forest. The difficulty of the fairways lies in the variety of greens and tee positions. "A physical and technical golf course, with excellent greens. The driving range offers 2 open positions and 20 grass positions. There's a restaurant on site, with a golfer's menu and drinks available at any time of day.

This Adventure Park offers 11 tree courses of progressive difficulty, depending on your desires for sensations, emotions, thrills or challenges, and 171 workshops. A course for toddlers from 2 years old allows adults to keep an eye on their budding Indiana Jones. The duration of the adventure courses is between 2h30 and 5 hours, depending on the difficulty. There is also an area reserved for Paintball on a surface of 6 hectares and a Via Ferrata. The participants operate in complete autonomy, but ground patrollers are there to ensure safety.

In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, jaï-alaï is well known. The local club, Gaztenak, founded in 1982, trains youngsters in pelota, specializing in cesta punta in winter and grand chistera in summer. What is a jaï-alaï? It's a fronton where cesta punta is played, with a side wall perpendicular to the frontis, located to the left of it, and a back wall parallel to the frontis. In 2024, the ^40th edition of the International Cesta Punta will take place.

Starting from the square of Arcangues, three walks are proposed throughout the year. You will walk through the undergrowth, along the golf course, the castle and the house of Luis Mariano. Ideal for families with children or friends.

Located a few kilometers north of the center of Bordeaux, Blue Green Bordeaux-Lac offers two 18-hole courses: La Jalle (6,156 m), which is totally flat and set in natural surroundings, and Les Étangs (6,162 m), which is more undulating and features numerous water obstacles, making it less accessible to neophyte golfers. A legendary course, this 34-hectare par 69 is 5,402 m long. In the heart of the Basque Country, at the foot of the Hasparren mountains, nestles Urkodea, a majestic ^17th-century Basque Labourdine equestrian farm. With a capacity of 15 people, this comfortable gîte (with independent access, fitted kitchen, etc.) dedicated to the "horse kingdom" is also for nature lovers, a bucolic interlude. From Biscarosse, you can reach Capbreton in 1 hours. From the Pontoon B you leave for a sea fishing morning (March to October except July/August). Boarding with Philippe Bisbau and his crew on a Helmsman 750 helmsman. Equipment, bait, everything is provided. A snack is available at 10 pm. Everyone leaves with the fruits of his fishing. Fishing seabream grey, place, rousseau, pagre, mackerel, chipiron… Attention: lost jigs are the responsibility of the maladroit fisherman (or unlucky!).

For an adventure in the heights, head above the former casino of Eaux-Bonnes, where you'll find the Forêt Suspendue park. This park offers a plethora of entertainment, with new games added every year, one of which reaches a height of 17 metres, with a 200-metre zip line running through a vast shaded area. Thrills guaranteed! The park offers various courses such as "Sensation", "Vertige" and even "Super Vertige". Even the youngest visitors can enjoy a playful experience with the "Chouette" course.

Renowned as one of the most beautiful on the Atlantic coast, the Seignosse golf course is a veritable jewel of nature. Situated on a very hilly site, amidst centuries-old oaks and pines, the course is highly technical. This exceptional location will enable you to discover the golf course's layout and its winding character, yet accessible to all. Some holes will allow you to dominate the course and enjoy an exceptional panorama. Introductory and advanced courses are also available. The restaurant boasts a panoramic terrace.

Inseparable from a stay in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Marie-Rose, a former port boat pilot, offers another way to discover the shale cliffs and perhaps an opportunity to approach the world of high seas fishing?

The Club Txingudi provides training in all forms of boating and introduces people to water sports. It has over 800 members spread across the anchorages of Txingudi Bay, with 2 sections: sea fishing, sailing and all water sports. Regattas, fishing competitions and nautical rallies are organized. It is also involved in training for all ages, and has its own clubhouse. An association to be supported by donations.

In the heart of the forest, this superb site offers courses for the whole family. Whether young or old ( baby courses are available from age 3), intrepid or cautious, everyone will love playing Tarzan and leaping from branch to branch through the forest. The youngest will test their mettle on the pink Young Adventurer's Course, while the Adventurers will be delighted to try their hand at crossing nets and bridges. The more adventurous will try their hand at the Explorer's course, with a succession of bridges and balancing logs.

With over 140 games and 13 courses of varying levels, Parc Robinson is one of the biggest accrobranche courses in the region. The little ones (under 6) can have fun on the "green" courses, while the more adventurous can tackle the difficulties of the Grand Frisson and Commando courses up to 12 metres high (from 16 years). As for safety, don't panic: the park is equipped with a continuous lifeline system. Admission gives you access to all courses for up to 4 hours. Zip lines are yours!

This 18-hole course in the middle of a pine forest, contains an authentic Landes farm, located in a perfectly preserved airial. Surrounded by hundred-year-old oaks, the Mont-de-Marsan Golf Course also has a club-house and a restaurant. The design of the course is very varied, passing from forest to meadow, undulating and crossed by a charming stream, Le Roumat. On the practice side, the golf course offers 25 carpeted tees, 9 of which are covered, as well as a grass practice area, and a green and bunkers area to improve your game.

Christelle Magnier, a student of equestrian tourism, takes you to horseback riding, for a simple walk of one to two hours or for a day or longer hike. For younger people, a playful initiation to horseback riding and pony rides is offered.
