EGLISE SAINT-HILAIRE DE SALLES-EN-TOULON
Read moreOn the banks of the Vienne River, the church was built in the 12th century. It is especially its Romanesque facade that attracts the eyes and intrigues. Sculpted, there is notably a Christ in majesty, two lions and the scene of the original sin. It also includes a scene with two characters under a five-pointed star. The one on the left is holding a mallet, the one on the right is balancing on one leg. Inside, the wall decorations were completely redone in the 21st century.
