Volunteers of the association offers to guide you through the middle of the marshes of Seudre. Coutières's Permanent Environmental Initiatives Centre (CPIE) is very active throughout the Gâtine. The number of cancer deaths was estimated at 149,456 in 2015.

Located in Poitiers, this since 1967 association affiliated to the Federation of secular works offers a wide variety of activities for all, children, teenagers, adults and seniors. The essential mission of the French People's Aid is to work towards respect for human rights! Health is a point that is played for many at the local level. Over volunteers have been running this service for more than years and have seen more and more people passing around. This association, a member of the associative health care house, is aimed at people facing psychological problems - depression… - and/or solitude but also their friends. It warmly welcomes them, listens to them and tries to create friendships between these people through various free activities - once membership and against a few euros: English courses, drawing, painting, singing, playing games, theatre, cups, discussions, outings… So don't hesitate to take the step.

The Association for the right on the initiative economic- ADIE- is a humanitarian association of social mutual aid. It lends money to the unemployed, the providers of the RMI, surendettées people, in short all except from the bank credit who decided to find the way of autonomy creating their own company.
