In pretty teapots, local teas from the Compagnie Coloniale are brewed, unless you prefer Turkish coffee with cardamom or a delicious hot chocolate. All served with a smile!

Housed in a large hangar on the Zone de la République, the Poitevin food court is on a roll, bringing together all ages and all publics: families, friends, colleagues. Under a garlanded sky, with its vintage decor, you can order a snack from one of the seven street food stands (burgers, tapas, wraps, crêpes... there's plenty to choose from!), pour yourself a beer from the giant 10-spout tapping machine, have fun, play games and dance. Every evening, a new event is proposed: sports, salsa classes, karaoke, dj sets... Republic Corner is the place to be!

The island of Ré is already a travel destination in its own right. But for even more thrills, head for the Ré Glisse bar! The location is particularly pleasant: the long beach at Rivedoux. It's tea time in Montmorillon, and we're off to La Terrasse. In this cocooning place, Kim Stupple will satisfy your cravings for tea and English delicacies (carrot cake, scone...). We assure you, everything here is homemade! On this side of the bridge, there's a distinctly British accent in the air. The decor of the dining room is in keeping with the theme, very... green and flowery - lovely -, but what really appealed to us was the famous terrace overlooking the bridge over the Gartempe and the medieval town. And with that, how about a cup of tea ?

THE trendy gourmet address in Parthenay, located in the Saint-Jacques district! Céline and Alexandre, the charming tavernkeepers, have set up their own delicatessen and beer and wine cellar in a half-timbered house: over 200 references of craft beers from around the world are beautifully displayed on the shelves. As well as tasting the beverages, you'll also find a wide range of delicacies and spreads. Follow the spiral staircase upstairs for a game of pool. Great atmosphere.

Close to the Place Leclerc, it is a place not to be missed in the student life of Poitiers. Spread over different levels, this big Australian pub of 600 m² welcomes a young and festive clientele. It has a great atmosphere! While the friendly bartenders are busy preparing good cocktails, the dancers invade the big dance floor. Here, there is something for everyone: beer-pong tournaments, karaoke night on Tuesdays with 29,000 songs to choose from, soccer or rugby game broadcasts, billiards, or DJs to shine on the dancefloor!

Lovers of good beer and amateurs spirits will fall under the charm of V & B. A team of experts at your service, impeccable service and above all, a great atmosphere that will make you spend a very good time. After work (in after for connoisseurs), curious or among friends, this unique place is the ideal place for a drink. The winning concept of V & B is 50% of cellar, 50% bar and 100% effective result. A wide range of wines, beers and breakage from around the world allow the novice to train his palace while the discerning amateur will discover with joy unknown flavours, but always with wise moderation!

Just a stone's throw from the Old Port, this bar is a delight for anyone looking to sip a quality cocktail. Prepared by Nicolas, each one is carefully crafted to produce balanced, original drinks. You'll find both revisited classics, as well as creations to sip on in a decidedly pleasant setting and atmosphere, while nibbling on pretty aperitif boards, spreads (guacamole, tuna rillettes) and even homemade French fries. The best part? A smiling welcome and friendly service. There's no doubt about it, this is a place where you'll feel right at home!

La Guignette is much more than a bar, it's an authentic place that has marked generations of Rochelais. Founded 100 years ago by Edmiliano Garcia, the cellar still welcomes crowds of students and those just starting out for the evening. Originally, La Guignette was a supplier of wines and spirits to ships in port. Today in the hands of Frédéric Baudry, this institution is as crowded as ever! Many people want to taste the famous sparkling wine. It's best to arrive early for a seat.

Here's an address you'll want to visit. Right in the heart of the pedestrian streets, this tea room is a great place to take a gourmet break. As you enter, you'll be charmed by the warm welcome and cosy setting. When the weather's fine, make way for the terrace to devour the delicacies prepared daily by Florence and Adeline. From tarts made with local fruit to chocolate moelleux and the inevitable cheesecake on offer every Thursday, there's something for everyone! A word of advice: opt for the café gourmand.

The Biblio Café run by Louise, Aude and Hugues, former booksellers, is one of those endearing places where friendship and openness towards others have a special meaning. Our hosts wanted to combine relaxation and reading, and this is a successful bet! All the books are new or second-hand and you can "taste" them on the spot with a coffee or a tea or take them away by buying them. On the shelves, art, humor, ecology and even erotic books, but also comics, mangas, games... all in a retro and bright decor. But nothing is set in stone here: there are also readings, acoustic Irish music, sex or knitting cafés to discuss, and here is the magic that takes place.

Insomnia eventually went to sleep and leave square at the Loco where Hervé and Eric greet you every evening except Mondays. The bar, which keeps a very gay-friendly clientele, regularly organises theme evenings on weekends.

Practically under the Porte Saint-Jacques, at the end of Rue Vau-saint-Jacques, a troquet-pub-night bar where you can get away from it all on weekends. Le Coupe-Gorge, brewer of beer and music: concerts are organized every opening night; the program is announced well in advance on the storefront. The house brews its beverages by hand (using organic ingredients, as do the grapes). In summer, you can enjoy these nuggets on the terrace beside the Thouet river. Festive, convivial and warm, this address, housed in a sumptuously medieval setting, hits the nail on the head.

Tasting a coffee here is an art. On the menu, a dozen varieties are highlighted. Producer, origin, terroir, harvest period, flavor, the coffee has been carefully selected by Anne and Frédéric, our roasters. You can drink it tightly or prepared with gentleness and precision. For tea lovers, a hundred varieties are offered, but perhaps you will opt for a colored and flavored milk drink. Accompany it all with a homemade pastry with or without gluten. The space is cosy, the tables rare, the welcome warm. A privilege!

A cheerfully colorful address where you can brunch, lunch or spend the afternoon over tea and a (very) tasty snack made by Julie and Claire. The talented partners delight Niort locals with their homemade pastries and clever tea blends. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy tarts, a dish of the day, savory scones and seasonal vegetables. Your weekend brunch (reservation required) will be royal: pancakes, fruit salad, pastrami/salmon bagels, pecan pie and more. A delightful stopover - with terrace, a stone's throw from La Brèche.

A tea room with a Parisian spirit, you are not dreaming, you are in Poitiers! Here the gustatory journey begins with the eyes. The Fink Chocolate Factory's tea room is definitely a must in the heart of the city!

Outside of meal times, this café bistro is the fashionable place to meet up with friends over one of the many drinks on the menu, such as mint tea (fresh mint!) or the Viennese chocolate that we are so fond of. La Serru' is the place to be for families, professionals and students. The setting of this bar is very composite. Stay on the first floor if you want to enjoy the incredible main room, its glass roof and its windows... It is one of the few places open in Poitiers on Monday afternoons where you can have a tea with a delicacy (tiramisu, custard...).

Leave the Old Port and its litany of bars behind and wander down to the little Rue Verdière. It's here that you'll discover a place that's both intimate and atypical. There's no doubt about it, the welcome is warm and the atmosphere pleasant, in a place dedicated to the famous 1970s American series. You only have to look around to realize that the owner, Jérôme, is a former pilot: aviator's jacket and cap, photos of fighter planes, crest, models... The decor leaves no room for doubt! This fan of Commander Greg Boyington's adventures has created a world of his own that will win you over. With this unspeakable setting and atmosphere, you'd almost forget to mention Jérôme's two specialities: a rum bar (with a serious menu featuring... 100 different rums), Belgian beers and a choice of 10 different champagnes. For those of you who don't know what you're talking about, there's also a cocktail menu named after the actors in the series, of course! Note that every third Thursday of the month in "r", we come to taste oysters directly from the oyster farmer Cyril Parpaix, located in Anse de la Patache (at the end of the island).
