A festival for classical music lovers in sumptuous settings whose opening concert takes place at the end of May at the Château de Saillant! Opera, chamber music..... many styles and periods are offered every year. Also noteworthy is a concert for young audiences. It is a great opportunity to discover part of the heritage of Corrèze (theatres, abbeys, churches, castles...), from Brive to Turenne via Donzenac and Uzerche, among others. And for this 40th year, the festival has some melodious surprises in store for you!

In the heart of Collonges la Rouge, a cultural rendezvous that has been an inescapable cultural event since 1991.
classic or cre ́ which is outdoors, with the sole purpose of making you laugh. Each and every one of them, the place du Lavoir de Collonges-la-Rouge, has been held on the eve of the big evenings to offer you performances of all the young and commedia. The event is carried out by the Association Collonges Animations Shows.

Over the years, the Brive Book Fair has become a not-to-be-missed event with around a hundred literary encounters. The event welcomes over 400 authors and illustrators of general literature, children's literature and comics. The Brive Book Fair is organized by the City of Brive, with the help of partner booksellers, faithful private partners, the support of the Centre national du livre, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Département de la Corrèze and numerous media.

Three days, three hundred authors and one guest of honour, animations throughout the city, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, literary awards, youth lounge and of course signing sessions, this is the formula. The fair in Limoges does not have the reputation of its briviste neighbour but, with its 60 000 visitors, it is one of the ten largest book fairs in France and is the occasion for a great deal of meetings.

Brought with passion for over ten years by the Film directors Society, the Rencontres du Moyen de Brive have an important reputation in France and in the Cinema world. They are supported by many partners (the City, the Department, the Limousin Region, the Ministry of Culture (DRAC), the CNC, as well as by private companies. A unique festival in Europe to be entirely devoted to the free format of the medium film (length between 30 and 60 minutes), the event aims to promote exchanges between the public and professionals around a very varied programming: more than one hundred projections, a competition of recent films, tributes, school programming, round tables, a film concert, but also public-teams meetings around an aperitif, educational workshops in the image, debates of rare works… Time of thematic and Retrospective is also very popular with the public: previously devoted to Olivera Manuel or Peter Watkins, Agnès Varda or Japanese filmmaker Koji Wakamatsu, in 2016 Chantal Akerman and Apichatpong Weerasethakul were in Honour.

For almost 30 years, the Parc des Loups de Chabrières has hosted the Full Moon Festival of Tales and Spells. This event is an opportunity to discover the park in a different way, with a storytelling stroll often punctuated by the howling of the wolves. While the most bewitching tales are told in the evening, stories are also told on site in the afternoon for young children. It's an event you won't soon forget. Reservations required.

The Contes en Creuse association is based in Royère-de-Vassivière, but the Paroles de Conteurs festival takes place on the island in summer. The festival features storytelling for children, as well as storytelling walks and performances for adults, known as veillées contées (storytelling evenings). Open stages give amateurs the chance to perform in front of an audience, and workshops encourage them to take their turn as storytellers. Training courses are also offered by the artists on hand. Families will be amazed by the P'tites Z'oreilles extra-curricular events!

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the festival has established itself as the biggest stage in the Limousin region. Every year, the town pulls out all the stops when it comes to programming. The 600 tons of sand deposited in the Théâtre de Verdure are almost anecdotal. Sting, Patrick Bruel, Santa and Grand Corps Malade are all expected to perform at the 2024 event. The rest of the program includes sporting events with tournaments (including beach rugby), sandcastle competitions and free concerts during the day. An unmissable festival in the region.

Since 1987 Chanteix sings, the Festival Aux Champs: a very popular event in Corrèze, a broth of culture with a cube of magic and some potatoes. Today, this festival is the flagship of the annual program led by the association Tuberculture, in Chanteix the country of the Boîte En Zinc, name of the room of Chanteix which, the rest of the year, opens its doors for various concerts and other shows of great quality. Several comedians, groups or famous singers come to perform on stage. This annual meeting is also an opportunity to exchange between people of the cities and people of the fields and makes it possible to make known, to develop and taste one of the specialities typically correzienne: the farcidures. Exhibitions and projections also take place.

Led by the association La Luzège, this festival runs every year at the Roc du Gour Noir (in Saint-Pantaleon) and on the Gorges of the Upper Dordogne. Plays, young public creations, music and meetings follow in unexpected places such as old stations, Lapleau shale quarries, schools, villages and bois…

2016 will be the year of the 29 ^th edition of the Nuits de @. Four days during which Tulle celebrates the accordion in the plural: an instrument of Fe ̂ tu, a popular instrument, instrument of cre, a crossroads of different expressions of expression and emotions… and in all its modernity, whatever might be left to think of prejudices! Very open, it offers every year, on a different theme, a diversity of styles with exchanges and confrontations between musicians from different backgrounds and those called "3 musettes voices". Over the years, the festival has hosted artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Juliette Greco, Raides Raides, Boys Butchers, Jacques Higelin or Bénabar… Throughout the city and until late in the night, capitals, theatres, theatres, bars, bars and public squares are adorned with? or nostalgic melodies from the piano. Exhibitions, animations and concerts follow in the rhythm leading to the historic city of the accordion.

BANDAFOLIE'S, a not-to-be-missed cultural event in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, has been celebrating music and sharing with brio for 25 years. Thanks to the commitment of 220 volunteers, a dozen international groups enliven this popular summer festival every year, usually during the week of July 14th. In July 2022, over 40,000 festival-goers vibrated to the rhythm of Bandafolie's, testifying to the growing popularity of this warm and friendly event marked by sharing and a memorable popular atmosphere. For music lovers, Bandafolie's is an event not to be missed.

As its name suggests, the Graines de rue festival showcases the street arts, especially young artists from the Limousin region and beyond. Make some noise, it's growing! Over 4 days, from Thursday to Sunday, young talent and young companies are on the program, aimed at young people and the general public, as well as professionals. Opening up the stage to the general public, between sharing, laughter, entertainment and freedom. The ^26th edition of the festival will be full of new discoveries and fun for all the family!

A 22nd edition for this festival organized by Words of Storytellers. 7 intensive days for more than 70 rendez-vous in the beautiful lawns of the island of Vassivière (not far from the castle and the farm) turn into a fairy village. This friendly music festival takes place every year on the banks of the Gartempe river. On the stages of La Souterraine and in other towns in the department, they make the public dream with a rich programme covering the world of jazz, but also gospel and gypsy music. Seilhac is a small town that hosts the annual Festival Théâtre à Seilhac. This festival offers a varied program of theater performances for all audiences. In the evening, Compagnie 28 will present "Le Champ des Possibles", a one-man play about the transition to adulthood. To close the festival, Compagnie Grand Tigre will present "T.C.H.E.K.H.O.V.", a mischievous biography of writer Anton Chekhov. The shows will take place at various venues in the town, including the gymnasium and Place de l'horloge. We advise you to reserve your seats in advance, as the capacity is limited.
