Read moreManaged by an insertion workshop, this unusual workshop assumes that recycled paper has its place in solidarity economy. Salaried employees benefit from contracts assisted and learn to reuse the subject matter of old newspapers. They recover batteries and piles of printed paper, which they soak in warm water. The dough thus obtained, still loaded with ink, went into a sieve and then dried and reteintée. The leaves are then folded, cut and assembled. It is used to manufacture admirable objects: frames recycled A 4 recycled paper, rideau, corbeille for selective sorting, designer boxes, handcrafted notebooks, jour, postcards, masks. All these works are sold at the workshop or on the association's website. Sorts offers courses for children and their families. They will thus be able to manufacture and decorate their own sheet, make a paper mask, or even perform a tapestry piece. Each participant leaves with a little gift.

You will find the artist and President of the association Sylvie Pouytes who gives introductory courses in pottery and modeling. She exhibits her own creations and co-creations of large jars, the potteries of Richard Danoun and Martial Ruffin, the sewing of Odette Herrera, the jewelry of Pascaline... here the artists multiply the supports: ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing... creating unique pieces that one admires and buys within this gallery-workshop.
L'ATELIER DE MO
Read moreSince 2013, L'Atelier de Mo in Montpellier has cultivated the artistic fulfillment of its members - children, teenagers and adults - in a friendly, caring atmosphere. The workshop, which became an association in 2019, has taken on a new dimension with three permanent teachers. Members, aged 5 to 89, decide together what activities they wish to take part in: classes, Saturday and vacation workshops, group exhibitions. Nearly 200 participants a year benefit from an environment conducive to exploring their talents in drawing, painting and other media. L'Atelier de Mo demonstrates that art has no age limit.
