Alba's winegrowers formed a cooperative in 1941. Today, some thirty winegrowers from the commune and surrounding areas are involved. A rich territory alternating between the basaltic terraces of the Coiron and the limestone slopes of Mont Juliau, with 60% red grape varieties. A modern winery, a barrel cellar and a renovated boutique are all quality tools that enable Alba's winegrowers to process their grapes and market their wines.

Henriette and Marius Raspail, managers of the village café Le National, began the family wine adventure in 1942. With their son Flavien, they developed a small production of clairette. In 1965, Jean-Claude and Françoise took over the business, made it prosper and built a cellar on the road to Die in 1985. Organic conversion in 1997 with the arrival of Frédéric. In this recently built building, 32 winegrowers from the famous Fleurie vineyard, all of whom love their land, present their wines to you at the estate price! With a superb vineyard facing Mount Granier, Domaine des Barns Germania benefits from an exceptional land of 3,5 ha for the best expression of jacquère, gamay and Pinot vines. The abymes, in white, are a delicate freshness that perfectly accompanies the seafood or the most typical Savoyard fondue. The rosé of Savoy comes from a rotting grape, which removes aromas of well-marked red fruits. It is a nice wine for the fine days around the barbecue. These qualities are found in the red gamay, whereas Pinot Prestige has more body to hold the length on a game. Wines to be discovered on the spot is so much better, during a tasting.

In 2000, the estate was refurbished and renamed Domaine de Méjane. Today, the torch has been taken up by Jean's children, Philippe and Anne, and the vineyard covers 14 ha. an "independent winegrower", the wine is bottled on the property and the winemaker respects the terroir and traditions. Jacquère, chardonnay, altesse, bergeron, gamay, pinot noir mondeuse and persan are the grape varieties you'll find when tasting the wines in the cellar. The Angelot house is a family domain of 29 ha of vineyards in the Bugey region, run by Philippe and Eric Angelot. Wine growers and harvesters, they offer a wide range of products to be found in many cellars in the region and at the estate where the tastings seem even better. Quality wines with a vineyard managed in "reasoned fight" and a wine making combining traditional techniques and modernity, in particular for the conditioning. Domaine Rochette is a must-see winery in the heart of the Beaujolais Crus. The estate offers guided tours of the vineyards and cellar by appointment, with a maximum capacity of 25 people. Picnics can also be booked on site.

Gérard Champetier took over the family farm in 1972 representing the fourth generation of the family in viticulture. Today, he is assisted by his son Richard, fifth generation. Les caves de Seyssel, founded in 1930, was taken over in 2022 by Bugey winemakers Régis and Karine Bernard. This estate preserves the heritage of Royal Seyssel and, more broadly, of Seyssel wines. From Villefranche, going to Liergues, take close to the cooperative wine cellar of Gleizé, the road of Saint-fonds, the property is then striking. Of the 9   ha of one holding, 8   ha are in silt and 1   ha in chardonnay that produced a white wine medalist in Mâcon. The wine cellar adjoining the main housing is large and serves as reception for 150 to 180 people, for weddings, parties, seminars. The property has been completely restored and highlights its stones. The old doors have been preserved, with antique furniture, old barrels and manger in the store. The green spaces covered allow for groups outside or under top. You can also find the calm on this hillside at the beginning of Golden Stones. In the heart of the village, Daniel Archambault presents his wines. The whites make up 5% of his production, including an aromatic "viognier marsanne" of great value. This cellar offers wines from the Ardèche winegrowers of the protected appellations of origin Côtes-du-rhône and Côtes-du-vivarais as well as organic wines. It is the third generation of winegrowers to produce this well-known organic wine. The vines of the Domaine du Rieu-Frais blossom on the marl soils of the beautiful Ennuyée valley, on 30 ha combining 9 grape varieties. The vinification, like the cultivation, is done organically and by hand. The winemaker offers free visits of the cellars and oenology courses. The domain produces a white chardonnay, a white viognier, a rosé of syrah, and many red wines. Also a very good organic grape juice.

For over 45 years, Domaine La Rosière has been perpetuating a tradition of terroir-driven wines, using local grape varieties from the Baronnies hillsides. The reds feature Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. White wines feature Viognier and Chardonnay. Wines with poetic names: Confidence, Héritage, Chardonette and La Vertue. Part of the estate's production is also organic, under the Bio'ronnies label for red, rosé and white wines. A particular favorite is the sparkling Chardonnay rosé.

On two streets of the town hall, this wine cellar is well signposted from the RN 86 - two possibilities: or park along the national or enter the city via the central roundabout and you can easily find the place - to load the trunk of some vouchers… in front of the cellar. Just a stone's throw from the tourist office, the Rosières winery groups together 150 winegrowers, i.e. 700 hectares of vines, spread over 13 communes. The variety of soils and exposures are an asset that the cellar makes the most of. Founded in 1991, Cave Noisel was taken over in 2017 by the "Handi Capables" team from LMDES, an adapted company based in Saint-Jean-en-Royans. Nestled at the foot of the castle, this winery was created in 1926. La Suzienne is a showcase of the region's winegrowing landscape, an ambassador for the diversity of the terroirs and local wines. Since 2003, Stéphanie and Mario have taken over the business from Marc Bonnaire, one of the winegrowers who was at the origin of the creation of the Vin de Pays des Balmes Dauphinoises around 1970. We discover a vineyard offering an interesting range of wines of all colors. You will find the white chardonnay, the rosé wine, the red wine la Meute, a blend of syrah and mondeuse grapes. Didier Morion, a passionate independent winegrower, manages his 11 ha of vineyards with a masterful hand. His first vintage was born in 1993. Since then, he has never ceased to improve the quality of his products, which are made with the help of state-of-the-art techniques. AOP Condrieu with the Vents d'Anges or a sweet viognier with the cuvée Maëllyse. 5,5 ha of the domain are in Saint Joseph, roussane and marsanne grapes, and produce the cuvée "Cranilles". Following the family tradition and attached to his terroir, Maxime Verzier proposes: Condrieu Authentic in organic and biodynamic methods on the hillsides overlooking Chavanay; Saint-Joseph on the Blondeau and Ballustre plots facing the Pilat and old Syrah vines on the famous Madone d'Izeras plot. The oldest domain of Chavanay finds its origins in 1797. An ancestral know-how - historical domain of the côte-rôtie AOP -, exceptional vines developed by Romain Decelle who converted the domain to organic viticulture. In an extraordinary setting, De Boisseyt has 11 hectares of vines to produce Côte-Rôtie "Côte Blonde", Condrieu "Les Corbonnes" and elegant and powerful St. Joseph wines. On 17 hectares where generations succeed one another in the vineyards and in the stone cellars, Lionel Faury raises the jewels of the northern Côtes-du-Rhône: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint Joseph. In viticulture as well as in vinification, the domain has the constant concern to develop the respect of the terroir and the characteristics of the vintage and he succeeds very well with each vintage. André Perret has been running the family business for 41 years. Today, he manages an 11-hectare estate of viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot-syrah vines, producing wines in the saint-joseph, condrieu and vins de pays appellations (viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot). Among the Condrieu wines are Coteau de Chéry, the house's flagship, Clos Chanson and Saint Joseph Les Grisières. Planted on hillsides and terraced, the vines are entirely hand-grown.
