L'ARTCHIMISTE

Cocktail bar
5/5
2 reviews

Explosive evenings ahead! In the chic district between Masséna and Brotteaux, here's L'Artchimiste. Mixology is the science of "chemists" of liqueurs, spirits and other beverages. Excellent ingredients, including great spirits and fresh produce, are used to create cocktails and mocktails that can be adapted to suit every taste. So much so, in fact, that the barman can even compose a cocktail to suit your mood. A warm and inviting place with stone walls, French-style ceiling, year-round terrace and cellar. A great address.

CELSIUS CAFÉ

Bar and caf
5/5
1 review

This type of establishment is located in the heart of Grenoble, on the edge of a rue brin and lit by this Celsius café. An Internet cafe, opened more than 10 years ago, where you can find all the services necessary to surf with interesting prices for tight budgets and the help necessary to avoid losing on the network or discovering the mysteries of computer science. The most undeniable thing is that you really feel like being in a coffee and not in a cold cybersalle. A warm and friendly place that even has a terrace where you can naturally connect with Wifi. Among the services offered, you can also make photocopies or print documents, but also, and it's much more original, exchange books free of charge!

LE COMPTOIR DE ZANZIBAR

Coffee shop and tea room
5/5
1 review

The Counter Zanzibar is a little the island to the mysteries of the childhood of Geraldine Veyret. A cave with treasures that never contain the same secrets. There are always new features! The last project is the manufacture of chocolate and spreads tablets. For this, Geraldine is following training at the higher national pastry school. In the meantime, it is always a pleasure to find the jars of nougats, the traditional niniches (which it alone proposes in Rhône-Alpes!), the spice bottles… Geraldine is inexhaustible on the products it uncovers in small artisans. We love Zanzibar for its famous dishes (Metis and rum, purple…), for its famous ice creams with incomparable taste, its many teas, cafes and infusions, its little aperitifs and unknown wines, its Confitures jams, and especially for the talent and friendliness of the boss! The place is not just a fine grocery store, it's also a wonderful tea lounge where you can calmly taste a good gingerbread or a little orange cake and an exhibition room where the artists give it to heart. In the evening you are advised to stay in order to sample the Counter kitchen. According to the Geraldine season will surprise you! If you need to go to Chambles on Foot only for this address!

JOHNNY’S KITCHEN

Music and entertainment bar
4.6/5
5 reviews

Ten small tables placed tightly one against another, a bottom of terrace overlooking the Saône, a TV set connected on a sport event or a clip channel. Johnny is not very impressive, but it is one of the friendliest places in the district of Saint-Georges. You can sit here for hours in front of an empty glass, without any worry. You can come to crunch Jacket potatoes cosmopolitan at any time and without fuss, with Chile, Savoy, Bolognese or vegetarian. The beer flows abundantly in this Irish cave where green atmosphere prevails. With a bit of luck, you'll see a music group repeating in the free rehearsal room located in the basement, at the sound mixer, amplifier and battery. An advisable "kitchen".

BEER SQUARE GRENOBLE

Beer bar
5/5
1 review

Beer, which should always be consumed in moderation, is a drink for sharing, with a festive spirit. And Beer Square understands this. A concept from Lille that has been perfectly adapted to Grenoble, where entertainment and beer go hand in hand. As for the beers, 16 taps with 8 permanent beers (like Bellerose blonde from Brasserie des Sources or Punk IPA from Brewdog) and 8 ephemeral beers. And to make sure you don't drink on an empty stomach, there's finger food with chicken croquettes and home fries. Don't miss the "Tap Take Over" when a brewery takes control of the spouts. Comedy show, Latin dances, music, blind tests, karaoke... Beers and pleasures to discover.

FIDÈLE BERGER

Coffee shop and tea room
5/5
1 review

Cédric Pernot changed his address and took over the boutique of the Faithful Shepherd under the arcades of Boigne Avenue. A tea salon, chocolate maker or pastry maker, the boutique at the Faithful Shepherd is part of the Chambérien landscape. Since 1832, the gourmands have stopped in this place marked by generations. An ancient décor, classified as historic monument, furniture and wooden and marble counters, pampille chandeliers, armchairs of the 1950 s, all breathe the soul of this house. Cédric Pernot, pastry pastry maker with delicate attention. As Petit Smart does not miss an opportunity to spoil himself, he has gone chewable with absolutely delicious macaroons before discovering small, small-quality ganache chocolates. In the tea lounge, you can drink a warm, old-fashioned chocolate-style chocolate.

Au Rencard is where the good stories are written. Established over 10 years ago in the beating heart of Grenoble, on the Place des Halles Sainte-Claire, Au Rencard is one of the city's best bars. It's the place to be if you want to feel the pulse of the city and meet up at any time of day. Relaxation and a good atmosphere guaranteed, thanks to a service that puts you in a good mood. At Le Rencard, you're never alone for long, and everyone gets to know each other casually around the counter. Aperitifs can be extended with cocktails and nibbles, but you can also enjoy some of Le Rencard's specialities at lunchtime.

Faced with the disappearance of the village spirit, Le Comptoir presents the "village bar". Perpetuating the tradition of good living together, Le Comptoir shares moments of conviviality around a typically French and regional product: wine. Encounters, friendship, it's human warmth in high doses that we consume at the Comptoir while savouring delicious platters composed of charcuterie and cheese, delicious terrines. If you pass by Louis Braille Street, you may be attracted by the delicious smell of pancakes. Sweet, you can enjoy them in the afternoon with hot chocolate, tea or Viennese coffee in a cocoon setting. And if you're not a pancake lover, you can still enjoy cookies or ice cream. In a very pleasant calm, do not hesitate to enjoy a good local fruit juice. At noon, you can also eat with a salmon pancake for example but also with a special dish or a salad at a very attractive price. A territory apart, an enclave of happy "terroirists" in Lyon. Le Bieristan. A republic on the border between a restaurant and a local bar, this warm, cooperative address on the Villeurbanne side (Gratte-Ciel metro station) is a great place to meet up - the premises are rather large - to share good cheer and good craft beers on the 15 draught beers. On the summer terrace, you'll find regional beers - 25 craft and organic breweries within a 200 km radius - and a selection of organic wines, as well as solid dishes made from local, raw, seasonal produce. Concerts, events, Bieristan remains our home for day and night.

A CHACUN SA TASSE

1 review

In this refined interior, a grocery oskar oskar of jazzy music, coffee is king. Whether it's Ethiopian, Colombian or house, the water used is filtered with a softener so that it doesn't alter subtle aromas. Cocktails based on coffee, milk or chocolate will be offered. But tea lovers will not be disappointed because you are not proposing less than 100 different kinds. Tea is served in an original and unusual way: on one side, a beautiful steaming teapot, and on the other, a large transparent glass and a tea flower. The latter is dragged into the glass containing the hot water, and after infusion, it opens itself into corolla to allow a delicate scent to be spread. All these delights can be consumed in the living room on the floor, very cosy and can also be bought to has in beautiful places on your shelves.

In this little street of the Croix-Rousse, Futé saw this Comptoir Sauvage appear with undisguised joy. In the big family of coffee shops, here - at last - is the organic version that will do us good. Run by charming women who know how to cook perfectly, Comptoir Sauvage is a tea room that thinks as much about our environment (no gaspi and waste with the possibility of taking away in its own container), our well-being (gluten-free option, 100% vegetable) as it does about the pleasure of our taste buds. Hot and cold drinks, vegetable milk smoothies, fresh seasonal products and successful home-made recipes. Healthy address noticed by Le Futé.

LE COMPTOIR DU GENTLECAT

Bar and caf
5/5
1 review

A cat bar is a tea room with different atmospheres in which cats roam freely. First and foremost, Comptoir du Gentlecat takes great care to ensure the well-being of its cats, and has obtained approval from the Rhône DDPP and a certificate from the École Vétérinaire. The cats, of which there are now seven (after a painful disappearance...), are now at home, on their own territory, and they let us stroke them, admire them, play with them... Relaxation, rest, serenity, well-being - this Comptoir is much more than a tea room as we hear it today. But there are a few rules: 10 commandments for good behavior with cats. Don't forget that you've also come to drink (coffee ground on the premises, chocolates, an excellent range of teas from Comptoir du Gentlecat with over 80 references!) and to eat, with delicacies to savour: cookies, muffins, donuts, cakes, home-made pastries. A counter to purr with pleasure.

All the art of mixology is expressed in original creations made from drinks and ingredients selected with particular care to satisfy our curiosity and pleasure. Tasting plates to extend the evening in the ghost's sheets.

LE CAFÉ DE LA TABLE RONDE

Caf philo et littraire

4 reviews

The Café de la Table Ronde, founded in 1739, is one of the oldest cafés in France - second only to the Procope in Paris. A lively historical place, the Café de la Table Ronde is a place where people like to go to drink at wide hours, but also to eat on one of the most beautiful terraces of the city. It is the ideal place to enjoy a good Chartreusito, a mojito with Chartreuse. An address of tradition, lively and unmissable.

Let yourself be carried away by this great Irish river, The Shannon. A river that has been flowing through an entire country and Grenoble for over 30 years! The Shannon is an authentic pub where you can enjoy a wide range of beers with friends: fruity, bottled or draught, with new in-house releases on a regular basis. All in a traditional setting, with a variety of objects brought back from Ireland. The good humor, conviviality, welcome and friendliness of the proprietor contribute to this happy Celtic atmosphere. Many activities are organized (darts tournaments, sports broadcasts), but don't miss the live bands who will introduce you to Celtic music. Enjoy your trip!

FRENCH COFFEE SHOP

Bar and caf
4.3/5
4 reviews

A national franchise, a French Coffee Shop is a bit like a neighborhood bar version 2.0, where people come to drink a more sophisticated coffee than a little black at the counter by connecting to the Internet. As a result, people exchange less, and it's sometimes a sketch to see two people sitting next to each other absorbed by their keyboards rather than talking to each other... That's the way things are, and it's a good thing the French Coffee Shop team is on hand to bring a smile and a friendly atmosphere. Since last year, however, the clientele has changed, and the few encounters you could make here seem more hazardous. There's less desire to share your impressions of a macchiato when it's cold or a milkshake when it's hot on the terrace... It's a pity that this address, despite its interesting concept, has taken a direction that we don't necessarily want to follow.

LE TROKSON

Music and entertainment bar
4.5/5
2 reviews

For the past seventeen years, they've been breaking our ears in a good way with good sound! A Lyon institution for lovers of rock in the broadest sense of the term (punk, indie, garage, post-punk, stoner, etc.), with an average of three concerts a week. The terrace is a godsend on long summer evenings, and the vaulted cellar room could tell a tale of its own. In short, the Trokson is a rock bar where you can meet unexpected people.

LE OUISTITI À ROULETTES

Bar and caf
4.5/5

8 years since we said yes to Le Ouistiti. A little monkey who welcomes us into a warm and welcoming room, with a beer cellar to keep you fed even when the bar is closed. It's just behind the Bonlieu center, and the place to come for a local craft beer, or a well-chosen glass of wine accompanied by a platter of artisan charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses. Rums and whiskies are also on offer, and the cocktails are delicious. At lunchtime on weekdays, you can indulge in a carefully thought-out home-cooked meal, with snacked red mullet fillets, celeriac mousseline, roasted fennel and roasted hazelnuts. Live music and a festive spirit.

For six years now, Papas Sucrés has been pampering us from Wednesday to Sunday, bruncheurs' day! A delightful tearoom in the Ainay district, near Bellecour, to spoil us with delicious products.
