Located right next to the Maison François Ier, the Café du Vieux Saint-Étienne is a real institution. Several generations have succeeded each other in this establishment. The place has kept its charm of yesteryear. In the morning, the inhabitants of Saint Etienne stop there to have a good coffee before work, at noon, they stop there again for lunch: rump steak, leg of lamb, roast pork, salmon steak, or chocolate fondant. A big lift for this district bar, which has taken advantage of a new sidewalk to set up a beautiful terrace which always drains many used to the time of the black or lunch (dish day, family kitchen). P'tit Vert lost, in part, its colors of SA Saint Etienne but gained in "beauty" and clarity. Its counter lost a little length, the tables won space, broken white walls, apparent stones, wood and metal for tables and chairs. There is an atmosphere of pleasant neighbourhood bistro in a somewhat deserted corner by the terraces.

An idea to break the ice! The Ice Shock Bar is undoubtedly the best news that we are discovering on the tracks this year. First of all, there is the beautiful terrace perfectly exposed where you can dance, on the good sound mixed by a great Dj, the ski shoes at the foot… At an altitude of 2 100 metres, you'll find a nice mountain chalet décor, very warm, to sample the shooters served in ice glasses. An ice that melts gradually in contact with our lips while the alcohol flows (with moderation) in our throat… The possibility to privatise places, especially in the evening, for exceptional celebrations. Note that you can also enjoy a dish of the day (reservation in advance) from 12 €. Everything is home and it's as delicious as the atmosphere. This is an unavoidable and completely givrée stop that the Smart has adored.

The D'Enfer Pub can take you to paradise... This is undoubtedly one of Grenoble's friendliest pubs. A pub with an old-fashioned atmosphere, with darts, table soccer and billiards. But it's the quality of the beer selection and the acoustic rock concerts that make this place so famous. The upstairs is a little low-ceilinged, but you can stay on the first floor to enjoy the warm ambience and share a pint, a terrible pitcher of planteur, cocktails or, better still, a pure malt whisky. It's the ideal place to privatize for a bachelor or bachelorette party. Good soundtrack.
