Located right next to the Maison François Ier, the Café du Vieux Saint-Étienne is a real institution. Several generations have succeeded each other in this establishment. The place has kept its charm of yesteryear. In the morning, the inhabitants of Saint Etienne stop there to have a good coffee before work, at noon, they stop there again for lunch: rump steak, leg of lamb, roast pork, salmon steak, or chocolate fondant.
