Jean-Marie's workshop is located in the Maison du Pays Messin in the Guard Pavilion of the Château de Courcelles. It is a place of information, awareness and animation around sustainable development open to all. Various themes are addressed: the fight against climate change, protection of biodiversity, energy saving, mobility, waste sorting, etc. Depending on the workshop, your child or you, depending on the theme, will learn in a playful way an aspect of sustainable development. Whether it's a workshop on anti-waste tips and recipes, decorating with natural objects, making a glass forest or a land art walk... A great initiative!

The Collectif Art association, formerly Dada, founded in 2000, is involved in the development of Brazilian and hip-hop culture around capoeira, batucada and hip-hop dance, not only in Metz but throughout the Lorraine region. The association has won several national and international dance competitions. Capoeira classes are held on Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. for children at Les Arènes de Metz, on Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. for adults at Les Arènes, and on Fridays from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium, also for adults. Batucada classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10pm at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium. Hip-hop dance classes for children are held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm at Les Arènes. For teens and adults, they take place Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm at Les Arènes. At the same venue, dancehall classes are held on Saturdays from 4pm to 5:30pm. The association also offers batucada and capoeira dance shows, so don't hesitate to contact them. Come and share the art of capoeira and batucada dance with us, in a spirit of joy and good humor!

In the heart of the old city, just next to the Craffe gate, EMAN has been offering music classes for everyone for over 20 years. Children (from 4-5 years old) as well as adults will find courses adapted to their age and level. Several styles of music are taught: jazz, rock, latino... as well as many instruments, from accordion to double bass, drums or clarinet. The individual lessons take place during 1/2h and the group lessons 1h30 per week, easy to adapt to your schedule.

The Al Terre Native association offers courses and courses of ceramics, with Céline Desor-Laurent, a ceramist. In the programme: introduction to many techniques including Raku. The exhibition hall features ceramic creations.

The former hotel hotel is also a training centre for creative leisure. Philippe Weaver is one of these craftsmen, mastering the techniques from manual cutting to diamond roulette, mouth blown glass or lead assembly. The works damaged by time, thus find under his fingers, in his workshop, a new youth. But it does not stop there and also creates, unique pieces, vases, chandeliers, wall, plates, set out in its workshop.

L'Atelier des Couleurs is a space of plastic arts dedicated to the learning and the improvement of various techniques (painting, drawing, volume) on various supports. Created in 2011 in Paris, the Labo des Histoires is a national, non-profit association whose aim is to (re)inspire young people under 25 to write. Theater enthusiasts love to get together for evenings where good humor and laughter are guaranteed. This theatrical improv troupe from Metz offers improvisation matches in which the actors, real players, compete against each other on themes chosen by lottery. It's up to the audience to vote for the team that has seduced them the most. Training workshops are also available for those wishing to discover improvisation or perfect their skills. Tip Top TAP: an activity full of percussive promise, offers a journey to the wonderful land of clapping, with a discovery of the different techniques used in tap dancing, from the magic moments of the American musical, through the Irish art, but also using tap as a percussion instrument. This timeless art combines physical exercise with a playful hobby and represents a very complete enrichment by developing balance, coordination, listening, memory, concentration, creativity, space management, group life..

Sixty tap dancers from 10 to 80 years old come from all over the region to share their passion, every Monday and Tuesday evening, according to five levels of adult classes, a children's/teenagers' class, workshops, training courses, etc., at Loisirs et Culture 11 bis rue des Couvents in Montigny-lès-Metz. The Conservatoire Régional du Grand Nancy is a metropolitan institution for the artistic teaching of music, dance and theatre. Classes with flexible music schedules (CHAM) in partnership with the National Education, courses, initiations, teachings, exams, but also auditions, concerts and events. The L.E.M., acronym for Lieu d'Expérimentation Marionnette, is Le Petit Théâtre dans la ville, taken over since the end of 2014 by the company En Verre et contre Tout. This puppet place with multidisciplinary tendencies is a real space of life, exchange, experimentation, as evidenced by a bar-library, an interior courtyard, a performance hall with 45 seats and a rehearsal room, where artists in residence, performances and training courses meet.
