Read moreThe Collectif Art association, formerly Dada, founded in 2000, is involved in the development of Brazilian and hip-hop culture around capoeira, batucada and hip-hop dance, not only in Metz but throughout the Lorraine region. The association has won several national and international dance competitions. Capoeira classes are held on Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. for children at Les Arènes de Metz, on Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. for adults at Les Arènes, and on Fridays from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium, also for adults. Batucada classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10pm at the Saint-Symphorien gymnasium. Hip-hop dance classes for children are held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm at Les Arènes. For teens and adults, they take place Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm at Les Arènes. At the same venue, dancehall classes are held on Saturdays from 4pm to 5:30pm. The association also offers batucada and capoeira dance shows, so don't hesitate to contact them. Come and share the art of capoeira and batucada dance with us, in a spirit of joy and good humor!
