This friendly vintage bistro is a real landmark in the heart of Quadrilatero Romano. Decorated in the style of the 1960s, Pastis offers a well-stocked buffet of quiches, focaccia, cold meats and cheeses, as well as fine wines and cocktails. The terrace, under the trees, is one of the most pleasant in the area, and the waiters are very friendly. If you dine here, the dishes are very well prepared and varied with Sicilian influences, for a very affordable price.

Exceptional setting for this wine library inaugurated in 1973. In fact, if from the outside the spaces may appear cramped, you have to go down into the basement to access the vast hall of the former refectory of the Augustinian friars in the nearby parish of San Marco. By reservation, you can dine by candlelight in a very 17th century atmosphere. Very wide choice of labels, tasting courses. One will simply regret the - sometimes - a little excessive prices of the drinks: between 10 and 15 € the glass of wine, you pay the address .

Dolce & Gabbana's trendy bar is the perfect place for a meal (restaurant featuring Italian specialties or pizzeria) or a drink. Refined and spectacular, the venue is divided between restaurant and veranda, in the courtyard of a palazzo in the Fashion Quadrilateral on chic Corso Venezia. You can choose your cocktail from a vast repertoire of drinks, with martinis taking pride of place.

Set in a former popular home, the Morgan's continues to seduce a young and trendy clientele among the locals and students at nearby Cattolica University. It has to be recognized that his vintage and his explosive cocktail, the Rocket, are rather glamorous.

It is probably here that you will taste the best coffee in Verona in a very small room with enough space for a few tables, the counter and an impressive collection of teapots (120 varieties of tea for tea lovers). At aperitif time, in addition to wine or cocktails, you'll be served appetizers, usually tempting assortments of cold meats, cheeses and small sandwiches. In winter, the vaulted interior is very welcoming, while in summer you can enjoy the lovely terrace on Piazza Emanuele Filiberto, which can seat over a hundred people. The menu features some 200 different labels, also on sale at the counter.

A reference for years in the night life of Aosta, this nightclub is frequented by a rather heterogeneous clientele of regulars: young people who come to dance to the rhythms of house, R'n'B and electronic music and older people who take part in Latino or 80/90s parties

Spanish atmosphere for this cosy bar in the Ticinese district. Exposed beams and some wooden tables placed under Iberian jamons hanging from the ceiling and facing a counter filled with good bottles. On Saturday evenings, the bar is so full that we stay standing, a glass in hand, some very Spanish tapas to nibble (octopus salad, cod carpaccio, vegetable couscous, avocado shrimp, chickpea cream and others) and especially in good company. A fine selection of Iberian wines and a must-have sangria.

Opened to coincide with the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, this trendy bar is inspired by the philosophy of the famous sports brand from which it takes its name, with large leather armchairs and giant plasma screens showing documentaries. There's even a terrace. Ideal for spending a pleasant evening after a day on the slopes, or for fortifying yourself in the morning before hitting the slopes with a hearty breakfast. Simple but nourishing dishes, and good cocktails. Very welcoming staff.

Founded in 1947, the "Piccolo" quickly established itself on the international scene as an ambassador of Italian theatrical culture through the quality of its shows, but above all through its ambitious programme. Today it continues to conquer an ever-growing audience. In its three halls - the headquarters in Via Rovello, the Teatro Studio and the larger Teatro Strehler - it stages a varied repertoire, marked by a severe but poetic aestheticism, very attached to its Italian roots, but also open to international productions.

Opened in 2002, the Billy Club is considered one of Italy's best gay night clubs. The original dance-floor style has been equipped with an excellent sound system, perfect for hosting internationally renowned Djs. 

A breath of fresh air in this trendy bar surrounded by greenery, in the center of Parco Sempione. The ideal place to have a drink as an aperitif or after dinner while listening to good music, during the hot summer evenings. Excellent mojito!

Opened in 1961, this is one of the most popular pastry shops in Milan. The counter, the 1970's wooden shelves and the elegant Murano glass lamps have been welcoming regular customers for 40 years, at any time of the day. Its production of all kinds of pastries has become legendary with its delicate mignardises, its famous mimosa cake (sponge cake with custard and wild berries) and its butter panettone. Excellent brioches for breakfast, and very well mixed cocktails for the aperitif.

This enoteca, located under the arcades of Piazza Mazzini, is not to be missed. It's a delight for wine-lovers, who like to meet up for a convivial time between aperitifs and the early hours of the morning. A vast stock of bottles is on offer, to be accompanied by a few hot or cold dishes, such as cheese and charcuterie boards, but also polenta, pumpkin gnocchi or tagliatelle with ragout. We love the turn-of-the-century atmosphere here, with regulars always ready to remake the world.

A small wine bar, welcoming and intimate, perfect place for the après-ski, but especially at the time of the aperitif. We are talking about a glass of a large Venetian cru or a giant sipped, eating exquisite appetizers and cold meats. Small restoration for who would like something more consisting of.

Located in the old sheds that were used to repair locomotives, it is an understatement to say that the gigantic industrial setting of this café-restaurant, which can accommodate hundreds of guests, is truly spectacular. And the hamburgers are worth the detour! The cats come from a shelter and enjoy a second life in a calm, Zen-like environment. The welcome is charming. It serves pastries at teatime, vegetarian and vegan dishes at lunchtime, and brunches where all the colorful dishes are a real treat. The café also raises funds for animal protection projects (the Argo di Valdellatorre shelter and the Piossasco cattery). It's the ideal place to take a serene break, lulled to sleep by the purring sound of the bar. The café sells small jewels adorned with an amusing kitten's face.

A rather trendy nightclub, just in the shade of the Torre Branca, imagined and wanted by the stylist Roberto Cavalli, implanted in a green space, part of the Parco Sempione. Open from 6am when everyone else is still asleep, you'll be served a super-creamy cappuccino with brioche. At lunchtime, simplicity and quality continue with tasty slices of homemade pizza or dishes based on fresh produce, to enjoy alongside the Turinese working in the area. La vera Italia !

Anteo Palazzo del Cinema offers a fine line-up of films, from the latest blockbuster to the hottest auteur, in a pleasant setting not far from Garibaldi station. We also mention this cinema for its large selection of films in their original version, which is very useful for non-Italian speakers. The cinema also offers interesting formulas in its Sala Nobel, where you can have breakfast, lunch, an aperitif or dinner while watching the latest film! Ideal for an original evening out.

Perched on the hillside of Castel San Pietro, this restaurant has a beautiful terrace set in a large garden, overlooking the Teatro Romano and the rooftops of Verona. The view dominates the whole city, offering sublime sunsets. After climbing the long staircase leading up to the castle, it is the perfect stop for a spritz or a well-mixed cocktail. As an accompaniment, crunchy little pizzas covered with tomato, string cheese and cold cuts. Among the dishes, burgers and pasta remain the best choices.

Cycling enthusiasts will love this bar dedicated to two-wheelers! In fact, it's one of Milan's favorite meeting places for cyclists. Located not far from Porta Venezia, it's the perfect place to stop for a snack, aperitif or lunch. On the menu: lasagne, tuna tartare, mixed salads, panegacci (sandwiches filled with mortadella, vegetables or mozzarella) and the inevitable tiramisù. In short, a place to come and recharge your batteries between two visits, whether by bike or on foot!

In the lovely setting of Parco del Valentino, in the San Savario district, this is one of the city's most conveniently located clubs, and has been in existence since 2005. It's one of the few surviving places to party and dance not far from the banks of the River Po. The clientele of this discotheque is, on the whole, fairly young, with few people in their thirties and even fewer beyond... The place isn't very big, so there may be a wait at the entrance. Plan to come when it opens to be sure of getting in.

Famous club in the center of Turin for partying and dancing the night away. There are a number of different areas, each with its own musical ambience, to cater for all kinds of audiences, or to change the atmosphere as the evening progresses. Numerous themed evenings are held throughout the year, with a number of guest DJs. The place is very busy, so be warned: you may have to queue a bit, especially for the Friday Bananamia night (gay and student night). Good cocktails, with or without alcohol.

Elegant wine bar in the historic heart of Bressanone, with a modern interior combining oak and metal, and a lovely terrace in the inner courtyard, lulled by the lapping of a small fountain. Around 500 labels, including many Alto Adige vintages. Vitis is the place to go when you're looking for a good glass of wine. Visitors are charmed by the original walls, steeped in history, and by the promise that every Wednesday, a Wiener Schnitzel will be served with a fine glass of Burgundy wine.

In the district of Porta Nuova, Bicerin Milano is perhaps our favourite wine bar in the city. We settle in and trust the team to discover real Italian wine nuggets. To be patient, we nibble some truffle popcorn before ordering a plate to share with the different wines. You can easily be convinced by the Italian cheese platter, for example, which goes wonderfully with the wines. The place is quiet, cosy, ideal for a drink with friends or lovers. Reservation recommended.

At the crossroads between Corso Garibaldi and Corso Como, this always crowded café keeps its doors open from breakfast to the last drink of the evening. It is both old-fashioned and trendy with its comfortable benches and low tables overlooking the car-free Corso. We regret a little the cold reception of the team and yet the atmosphere is nice at the time of the aperitivo between 18:30 and 21:30. A buffet is set up with mini-pizzas, toasts, olives and focaccia. Restaurant service and brunch on Sundays.
