In this elegant Japanese restaurant of wood and raw concrete design, you sit at the counter to watch the cooks prepare sushi and take your time choosing a sake, the bottles of which are displayed in the background. The menu changes daily according to fish arrivals, but guarantees a wide selection of sashimi, nigiri and chirasis. On the small plates, the Tombo tatai of just-seared Hawaiian tuna served with a spicy bouquet of black radish and chrysanthemum leaves is divine, as are the special rolls.

Established in 1908 by Frenchman Philippe Mathieu, this grand old-fashioned diner has been located at the gateway to Chinatown since the 1950s. Its specialty: the French Dipped Sandwich, a sandwich lightly soaked in meat juices and topped with beef, lamb or turkey. It's nothing gourmet, but the macaroni and potato salads, white bean and split pea soups, and apple pie are all reminiscent of the optimistic, good-naturedAmerican way of life of the fifties.

Located in the heart of Japantown, this ramen house is famous and crowded, so remember to make reservations for evenings and weekends. The star of the menu is the Hinodeya Ramen, a noodles soup with bonito (tuna), kombu and scallops. You can also add pork cha-shu, soft-boiled eggs, dried seaweed and green onions. Vegetarian ramen is also popular, with soy milk, sesame and spinach noodles, a creamy soup that can be topped with a tofu cake, pepper, fried kale and shitake mushroom. A must try!

In this tourist district, this street food restaurant on the pedestrian waterfront is delicious and reasonably priced. The family behind the stoves has mastered California seafood specialties: the famous clam chowder, crab cake, fish & chips, shrip'n'chips, lobster, fried oysters, seafood combos and shrimp popcorn. You'll want to try it all, it's all delicious! The star of the sandwiches is the lobster roll, expensive but delicious.

South of Wilshire Avenue, Westwood Boulevard is a long succession of oriental restaurants and stores. Let the aroma of falafels guide you to Sunnin Leban Cafe. Among the specialties, we particularly recommend the moujadarah - a lentil puree prepared with rice and caramelized onions - and the houmous kawarma - with beef fillet. While prices may seem rather affordable, fans of Lebanese gastronomy will quickly run up the bill, curious to try several preparations.

This coffee shop set in a cottage in the middle of a garden makes you want to push the door open. In addition to cookies, burrito breakfasts, lavanda vanilla latte and green turkey sandwiches, the specialties of the house, it hosts outdoor country, rock and jazz concerts in the summer, but also weddings. And on the other side of the house, at the end of the hallway, we find a cozy bar, the Revive Bar Room. Last but not least, the owner Robin knows all the good tips of the region and runs a paddle boat business on the lake in the summer.

It's the wine cellar of Sonoma Valley wineries that don't have the infrastructure to accommodate their customers. The wines on offer are organic or natural, but not exclusively so. The interior room and patio are rather basic, with wood, simple lighting and a shade sail outside, but pleasant. The cuisine is Mediterranean-inspired, using seasonal vegetables from the region. We recommend the spicy eggs with basil and the chicken with broccoli. For wine, Ashanta and Source & Sink are not bad!

This California-based Thai cuisine brand has several restaurants in the state (including one in San Francisco). The Berkeley address is particularly elegant, with Asian-design furniture focusing on wood. On the menu, you'll find daring and delicious proposals: for starters, tom yum granita; for main courses, crab pad thai, beef with yellow coconut curry, volcano cup noodle with braised pork... All accompanied by equally refined creative cocktails.

This Mexican taqueria is a true delight, as it handles the art of tacos, burritos and other Mexican delights... but only with vegetables: it's entirely vegan. Specialties include "impossible" vegetarian steak, which imitates meat very well, as well as black bean, potato and chickpea compositions. You'd expect bland dishes, but everything is tasty and perfectly balanced. Reasonably priced, with fast service, this is a great place to stop for lunch in Oakland.

Oxbow's Farmer's Market is downtown Napa's gathering place for food and wine lovers, and the perfect place to sample local street food. The market supports sustainable, organic agriculture and small, independent farms. It features a panoramic outdoor terrace with tables along the Napa River, and offers the best of local produce, as well as bars and restaurants... On the menu, the best of Northern Californian cuisine: oysters, sandwiches, tacos, organic ice creams and gluten-free pastries.

A quintessential Californian address that only exists in Oakland, with character. Serving both fine cocktails and Mexican-influenced gourmet plates. It's a busy restaurant by day and a lively bar by night. We love the floor, the refreshing chick-yellow and water-green colors, and the sunny bay windows. The à la carte menu features simple, affordable dishes, with veggy, vegan and gluten-free options, prepared with a variety of toppings (seeds, etc.). Brunch at weekends.

This little takeaway-only counter is easy to spot from the street, it's always full, and all the customers are Chinese! Ideal for a picnic break in a park (either Washington Square or Porthmouth Square). The food is authentic, inexpensive and delicious. We loved the pork buns, steamed shrimp and coriander dumpling, fried corn cakes, egg rolls, sesame balls... It's easy to choose: all the dishes have photos on the wall and in front of the counter with corresponding numbers.

Blackwood is an elegant new Thai-American restaurant on Chesnutt Street in Marina. Two inviting communal tables can be found by the fireside on the terrace, while inside there are more cosy banquettes with marble cushions and tables. Classic Thai dishes, such as pad thai, oyster mushroom egg rolls and crispy-crusted tiger prawns, coexist with American dishes twisted with Thai flavours, such as the BW Burger, wagyu seasoned with white cheddar, coriander aioli and Thai sesame salad on a brioche bun.

Zorro would fit right in at this traditional Mexican tavern, with its stained glass windows, iron grill, pink feathers and glass lanterns hanging from a wooden ceiling. A large counter also hosts a DJ, who benefits from a state-of-the-art sound system. The cocktails are on point, especially the Passion Tropical (rum, mescal, passion fruit). The menu offers a stroll through different regions of Mexico, and we've spotted a grilled cactus with egg and chorizo, followed by succulent shredded beef and crème brûlée.

Welcome to this typical Mafia restaurant. A scene from the film Casino was even filmed here, and actor Joe Pesci has his plaque here! The atmosphere is very cosy, with alcoves where you can relax with friends. The waiters, with their slicked-back hairstyles and delightful manners, are just perfect. And the menu is just right, from the calamari with sponge cake to the house specialty, an exceptional osso bucco that melts on the tongue... What an experience!

The Aria casino has just opened a food hall, that famous restaurant concept which is causing a stir everywhere by bringing together independent brands offering very different cuisines in the same space. At the Proper Eats Food Hall, you'll find a New York sandwich stand (Egghead), Korean-style fried chicken (Seoul Bird), luxury shawarma (Soulbelly BBQ), vegetarian pizzas (Pizzacki), ramen or grilled pork (Laughing Buddha)... For fans of New York-style pizzas, Pizza Cake by Buddy Valastro will have something to interest you. Trained as a pastry chef, this star of the TLC chain offers a huge choice of round or al taglio (rectangle-shaped) pizzas with every conceivable ingredient. In addition to pizzas, Buddy Valastro will surprise you with his many cakes, which can even be purchased from a vending machine. Located in Harrah's, the restaurant is open late into the night, should you fancy a pizza on your way out of a nightclub.

Created in collaboration with Esquire magazine's "Chef of the Year", ¡VIVA! is a restaurant that celebrates chef Ray Garcia's vision of Latin cuisine. A collection of cultural products such as handmade corn tortillas and other freshly prepared ceviches, guacamoles and salsas. The menu highlights the bright, bold flavors synonymous with Mexican cuisine, with an emphasis on regional dishes and seasonal ingredients designed as small plates, appetizers and entrees to share.

Known for her shows on American television, Martha Stewart has set up shop in Paris in an upscale restaurant with decor inspired by the celebrity's farmhouse, featuring a subtle, neutral color palette and simple furnishings. In the kitchen, Martha Stewart and her team offer a menu of tasty dishes based on fresh local ingredients, combining the star's favorite recipes with French inspiration.

Located in the Aria hotel-casino, the Catch restaurant will appeal to those who appreciate fish, seafood and meat with an Asian influence. The menu is varied, with a few nuggets including the famous Mac and Cheese with lobster. The cocktail list will also delight mixology enthusiasts. Frequented by American celebrities from all over the U.S., Catch offers a magnificent setting with a highly successful floral interior design. The corridor leading to the restaurant alone is worth the detour. Reservations are recommended.

This Italian - or more precisely, Tuscan - restaurant is just the thing for a special occasion. Comfortably seated in this half-baroque, half-design décor organized around an open kitchen, unless you prefer the private lounge or patio, you'll have to make some Cornelian choices in front of its beautiful menu. This excellent neighborhood restaurant combines West Coast inspirations with Italian traditions. Esther is the name of Chef James Tree's great aunt, who inspired his passion. His motto: "in the kitchen, knowledge is power". With experience in top restaurants, he prepares delicious pasta - including homemade spaghetti and radiatori - beautiful pizzas and a variety of sharing entrees. In the evening, the restaurant also serves dishes such as polenta.

This Venezuelan canteen looks like a fast-food restaurant, but it offers delicious arepas, specialties made from corn bread and filled with meat, vegetables or eggs. Viva Las Arepas offers a dozen of them, with a choice of wood-fired beef, chicken, roasted pork, melted cheese, ham, avocado, black beans, tomatoes, mayonnaise and garlic shrimp. Some combinations are simply delicious.

You will be amazed! The Brera Osteria is a miniature replica of Saint Mark's Square in Venice. The key elements of the place are there: the lions in - fake - white marble, the Renaissance windows, the cantatrices, the Bridge of Sighs, the ceiling painted as a cloudy sky, and even the canal where the gondolas pass. On the food side, we like the fritto misto - fried squid, mussels and mushrooms - the tortelli - pasta stuffed with braised veal and mushrooms - and the panna cotta for dessert, revisited with pineapple. Delicious!

If it's not easy to find, Mr. Mamas Breakfast and Lunch is worth looking for. People have been flocking to the door of this little Greek and Californian-influenced canteen since 2012 for brunch. On the menu: pancakes, omelettes, French toast, sandwiches, wraps and burritos. Finally, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its cinnamon rolls, which are big enough for two, as the menu proudly states.

Welcome to the only Bulgarian restaurant in the American West. BG Bistro features a casual restaurant area and a trendy lounge bar. On the menu, dishes with multiple influences, with many salads - including Italian and Greek - delicious appetizers to share, such as grilled octopus, pizzas, or even grilled meats. It is also an opportunity to taste Bulgarian specialties such as Panagyurski eggs. All served in generous portions and at low prices.

Away from the Strip, in East Vegas, you'll find this small and confidential address. Filet mignon, pork chops, chicken ballotins, sea bass, squid ink pasta served with bacon, fish roe and parmesan cheese... In a subdued atmosphere where the waiters are dressed as in the prohibition era, you can enjoy American-style grilled meats and seafood dishes. Nevertheless, the Cleaver also lends itself to excellent cocktails in the early evening, before leaving to conquer the city's casinos.

Impossible to miss in Downtown, Le Thai is, as its name suggests, a Thai food restaurant. Chef Dan Coughlin's specialties include his famous three-color curry - a mix of red, yellow and green curry - his homemade noodle soups and his signature Waterfall sauce. There are also delicious pad see ew and pad thai, as well as the inevitable mango sticky rice for dessert. The icing on the cake: a great drinks menu. An address with unbeatable value for money; nevertheless, beware of chillies!

After starting to work in restaurants in Italy as a teenager, Eduardo Daja moved to Bologna to join a family-owned establishment. He eventually moved to Utah in the mid-2010s where he eventually opened a restaurant with chef Marco Cuttaia, drawing on his experience in Palermo. The result is a delicious traditional and inventive Italian cuisine that is a reference in Salt Lake City. Among the pasta dishes, special mention goes to the casarecce with bacon, pistachio and burrata. Big favorite!

In addition to being Salt Lake City's go-to for sandwiches, Buds has been serving 100% vegan and homemade preparations, from sauces to proteins, since 2012. Victim of its success - especially during the week, at lunch time - this small establishment is frequently taken over by a long line of customers; thus, count about twenty to thirty minutes of waiting before being served. Although there are a few wooden tables in front of the red brick house, the address is particularly suited to take-out orders.

This traditional Japanese restaurant is arguably the best in Salt Lake City - if not Utah. In a modern setting, where you can see the chefs in action, Takashi serves quality sushi and sashimi of rare finesse. On the menu: a long list of fish and seafood that are sometimes difficult to find in France, notably the delicious fatty tuna - toro, in Japanese. Enjoy it! Beware, the bill is rising quickly, we advise you to keep this address for a dinner, in order to fully enjoy the night atmosphere.

With its warm, pleasant atmosphere, this charming café has established itself as a benchmark in a less lively neighborhood. The small menu focuses on brunch, with specialties such as homemade American scones with cheddar and jalapeño served with sausage gravy and fresh, fragrantavocado toast. Above all, the burger is absolutely delicious, prepared with wagyu, caramelized onions and cheddar. A seemingly simple combination, but one that will stay with you for a long time.

Dining at Vivace Restaurant is the promise of a wonderful evening. This superb Italian restaurant with its attentive staff is probably one of the best restaurants in Tucson, despite its affordable prices for the quality of its dishes. Special mention goes to the four-cheese manicotti, a homemade pasta stuffed with ricotta, fontine, pecorino, parmesan, tomato and mushrooms. Ask to be seated outside, absolutely charming, between its fountain, trees and cactus decorated with string lights. An excellent address!

Established in 2015, this excellent restaurant is known for the quality of its products, the refinement of its cuisine and the atmosphere of its lounge bar, as well as for the breathtaking view from its terrace. We find good meats, from chicken escalope to filet mignon, as well as a nice plate of salmon, swordfish or pasta. Special mention to the desserts, the peanut butter and chocolate pie in the lead. Whether it's for a drink or a meal, a stop in Sedona should always include a stop at the Hudson.

We don't come here for the charm of the establishment or its refined cuisine, but for its good value, its authenticity and above all its location: Hustle Bustle Cafe is the ideal place to have lunch if you're spending the day west of Tucson. It's a 5-minute drive from Old Tucson Studios, 10 minutes from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and 15 minutes from Saguaro National Park. The menu features classic American dishes, such as burgers and chicken tenders.

If you're looking for ambiance, come to Chingada Cocina Mexicana on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Sundays, between 6pm and 9pm. Choose from romantic serenades, acoustic guitar and mariachi. All this while savoring tasty, hearty cuisine, from traditional tamales to Mexican-style salmon and shrimp and garlic pasta. If you're on a budget, opt for the delicious tacos, whose tortilla is particularly good.

I fell in love with this wine bar located just off lively North^4th Avenue. Charming welcome, beautiful room adorned with a superb mural, candlelight, soft music - especially instrumental - intimate atmosphere... You'll be seduced as soon as you cross the threshold. Above all, we love the concept of composing your own board from a fine selection: burrata, fourme d'Ambert, truffle pecorino, aged manchego, bresaola, 24-month prosciutto and mortadella. To accompany it all, fine wines by the glass or bottle.

In the Hotel Congress, between Downtown and North^4th Street, this restaurant serves delicious breakfasts. A special mention goes to the Brioche French Toast, a French toast revisited with an orange and vanilla-scented brioche, accompanied by maple syrup and mascarpone. In the U.S., you'll also find a fine selection of eggs on the menu, from omelettes to "two eggs and toast any style " to eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and huevos rancheros - a Mexican dish. All served in a pretty, bright room.

Right from the front door, this saloon takes visitors back over a century, to the days of cowboys and the gold rush. Once you've managed to ignore the presence of the many other customers and the "Disneyland" feel they convey, you're fully immersed in the friendly atmosphere. If you don't come here for the finesse of the cuisine, the service is charming and the premises unique, the building being originally that of the Grand Hotel, built in 1881. This simple yet sophisticated establishment seems to belong to the Old World. Rough Rider's concept is to house a ^21st-century restaurant as well as a late ^19th-century cocktail bar. On the menu: several punch recipes, more classic drinks with homemade compote or "curiosities". The food on offer is very good, from roast chicken with rosemary butter served with celeriac purée to pappardelle with pork ragout, sautéed ricotta and fried sage. An excellent address!

Nestled in the Arcadia district between Phoenix and Scottsdale, this address is worth a visit for its 100% American gastronomy specialty: the burger. The plates and portions may be unrefined, but the freshly ground meat makes all the difference. The principle is simple: a single recipe, The Standard, is available in four different forms, each enhanced by other ingredients. Don't miss the salted dulce de leche milkshake. Excellent value for money.

Le Belly is a journey to Asia in itself. It draws its inspiration from Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese cultures, both in its sharing plates and dishes and in its tasty cocktails. Enjoy delicious Pho, pork with mustard and fried rice, or fish and chips with tofu. For dessert: sticky rice, the traditional glutinous rice served with seasonal fruit. Also try Naga thai tai, a cocktail combining Thai tea rum, lemon, bubble tea-style fruit pearls and cynar, an Italian bitter.

Synonymous with a successful breakfast or brunch, Ollie Vaughn's is one of our favorite Phoenix addresses. From pancakes and bagels to quiches and sandwiches, the preparations are fresh and tasty. It's hard to choose between the cakes on display, but we recommend the cheesecake and the Nutella mousse tart. You can enjoy all this to the accompaniment of discreet music either indoors or in the lovely shady garden, with its plants and superb mural.

Little Miss BBQ is one of Phoenix's must-try restaurants for grilled meat or meat in sauce, Texas-style. Located in an industrial district, the restaurant has built a solid reputation that has been maintained over the years. On the menu: sausage, turkey, ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket from every angle. Smaller budgets will prefer sandwiches. Note that another address has opened in the Sunnyslope district, to the north of the city.

Founded in 2013, this small chain also located in the Arcadia neighborhood and Scottsdale is a good alternative to the Mexican and Italian cuisine in vogue nearby. Above all, it's an opportunity to access healthy, vegetarian and tasty options, like the Heirloom Brown Rice Bowl. It's made with sorrel pesto, kale, sweet potatoes, feta, pickled mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, a soft-boiled egg, brown rice and dill. Delicious! Also note that Ingo serves breakfast around the clock.

We're not in Napa Valley yet, but this address already sets the tone for this wine and food region. Located in the center of Sausalito, an upscale town where restaurants are expensive, this small, unpretentious address offers affordable burgers. What makes them special is that they are prepared with ingredients from the Napa Valley. The wood-and-brick interior is very recent, but the best part is the sunny terrace. We regret, however, that it is not open for dinner.
