BIG NOSE KATE’S SALOON

Right from the front door, this saloon takes visitors back over a century, to the days of cowboys and the gold rush. Once you've managed to ignore the presence of the many other customers and the "Disneyland" feel they convey, you're fully immersed in the friendly atmosphere. If you don't come here for the finesse of the cuisine, the service is charming and the premises unique, the building being originally that of the Grand Hotel, built in 1881.
