With the appointment of Bertrand Salanon as head of Bonlieu Scène National Annecy, a new story is being written. What hasn't changed is the 900-seat auditorium, which offers the best possible conditions for performances. The 2024 program is no exception, with theater, dance, music and circus arts, as well as performances, conferences, workshops and free events, while we await the presentation of the 2024/2025 season at the end of June, and the not-to-be-missed festivals. Maison du Haut-Rhône is a cultural centre that through films - projection room for

20 places - and thematic exhibitions - are aimed at discovering the local heritage. The year 2009 will be marked by exhibitions of local or regional artists in which the theme of the Rhône is often present nearby, the slipway will offer you a pleasant walk on foot or by bike along the Rhone.

The Arcadium is a major concert venue for national and international artists. Formerly the Hall des Expos, the Arcadium came into being after titanic renovation work carried out over 10 years ago, in compliance with HQE standards, and an investment of 9 million euros. Dates are already booked for Manu Payet, Gad Elmaleh, Jarry, Ines Reg, Alison Wheeler, Michael Gregorio, Artus and a concert by Alain Souchon, Ours and Pierre Souchon in March 2025.

At the University of Savoy, at Jacob Bellecombette, Amphitheatre 11000, every Wednesday of the school year a film in VO preceded a short film. Open to all, this cinema is not a film club, but a cinema room with a commercial status managed by an association. He can therefore pass the films of his choice and remain unique in France. The modest price requested just covers rights returned to distributors of films. Here you can see movies on the first day they come out, but also retrospective, great classics, cycles and always in VO. Univerciné joins festivals and the Espace area for some projections. A word on the screen, 7 m wide, a sound sound Dolby 5.1, a projection booth in digital format or 35 mm, in short, from the professional! All managed by students.

The Savoy theatre is located in the centre of the town of Saint-Maurice. With a capacity of 250 armchairs, it is a cinema with a human size, which is still projecting the novelties of the moment: 3 D blockbusters, international films… On the Monday evening, you will find the original Subtitled Films. The hotel will soon be replaced by a larger cinema with three rooms and access for disabled people.

Concerts, festivals, the association of musicians and music lovers, enthusiasts and volunteers, perpetuates a tradition of Jazz and Blues culture very much alive in Annecy. The Jazz Club is able to showcase the most talented as well as the most promising musicians in a variety of venues (see our program on FB). Thanks to the energy and passion of its members, the Club is well established on the Annecy music scene, with concerts every second Wednesday of the month and the annual Festival at Château de Clermont. Quality programming in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

The Cinémathèque de Montagne is a must-see event for film and mountain lovers. Its immersive exhibition, featuring 60 film extracts, plunges you into the heart of mountain life. Its virtual reality area offers a breathtaking view of the Hautes-Alpes. And what can we say about its superb darkroom, which screens exciting documentaries every week on the themes of mountains, travel, nature and wildlife! An ideal destination for all those who dream of wide open spaces and spectacular images.

The Cité des Arts is made up of two separate buildings, the articulation being at level -1 inside. The architecture devotes the lines and light and the whole is the extension of the Jardin du Verney and the surrounding mountains. The Cité des arts welcomes the structures of public arts teaching and associations (CRR de Chambéry-Pays de Savoie, APEJS, Municipal School of Art), associative structures at the service of amateur artistic practice (Municipal Harmony, Orchestra Circle).
