Jean Carmet's family home, a 15th century building, has been home to the Maison des Vins for more than 20 years. You will be able to discover the different vineyards and estates of Bourgueil or taste a dozen wines. Not to mention more than a hundred vintages sold at the estate price. You can also learn about the terroirs of the appellation and the secrets behind the vintages. All summer long, the Maison des Vins proposes in its Espace Jean Carmet an exhibition dedicated to the actor.

In Briare, a boutique specializing in quality-selected spirits of all categories has its front door open. It's fair to say that at Cave Loire & Millésimes, the love of the trade is deeply rooted. When the heart is sincere, the response from customers is just as sincere, and grands crus rub shoulders with vins de pays and from other regions of France and many other countries. Likewise, the variety of whiskies and rums selected opens up worlds of liquid flavours during a skilfully orchestrated tasting: a must-discover!

In front of the château's entrance, the Maison des Vins offers an original self-service concept in which visitors receive a glass fitted with a microchip under the stem, allowing them to select between 4 and 7 wines from the hundred or so on offer for tasting! Visitors can also taste the day's wines free of charge. An app for mobile phones and tablets allows you to follow the tasting with advice from the chosen winemaker on how to best match wines and dishes.

Vino Valley and its 250 or so products, exclusively from the Loire Valley, have set up shop in a former wine-making cellar, preserving the rails that were used to transport bottles and barrels. To help you make up your mind, the team will have you taste the star bottles at the bar, and you will be able to accompany them with a delicious wine list. Wine here is a true religion. A religion whose proselytes have their feet firmly on the ground, fortunately. That's why, certainly, they have this red hue... The cellar has existed since the 10th century, around the castle of Chinon. It was Pierre Plouzeau who bought the family estate and who now perpetuates a unique and world-renowned - and often rewarded - know-how (as much for its rich and delicious taste as for its "organic" virtue). You won't be disappointed to discover this place dedicated to the good wines of Chinon! Visit this former troglodyte quarry converted into an ageing cellar. The best terroirs of the appellation are produced here: chinon, savigny-en-véron, beaumont-en-véron, ligré... More than 700 barrels and tens of thousands of bottles of the greatest vintages. You will find very famous wines: different estates are grouped together to select their finest products. In summer, remember to take a warm garment for the visit!

Under Amboise Castle, the wine tasting cellar includes the products of some wine growers in the Touraine-Amboise appellation Area. There are white, rosé, red and wines obtained from the Champagne method. Visitors are entitled to a free tasting offered with a smile.

Jean-François Mérieau is the heir to a know-how he perfected in the great houses and in South Africa. He took over the family estate and moved to Montrichard, where he ages his wines in centuries-old cellars. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, and some of the crus are hand-harvested, all of which are well worth a taste. Don't miss the golden Bulles de Génie or the rare Siècle Georgina, a sweet white wine produced only in good years. The estate regularly organizes aperitif concerts.

Located in the former train station at Thoré-la-Rochette, the Maison du Vin et des produits du terroir vendômois lets you discover and taste (and more, if you like!) the region's gastronomic specialties (wines, goat's cheese, deer and duck charcuterie). Near the station, in the winegrower's cellar, you'll also find a small Maison de la vigne museum presenting the history of winegrowing traditions in the Loir Valley, as well as picturesque antiques

This family of winegrowers, from father to son, produces côteaux-du-vendômois, red, white, rosé and gris using a traditional "low vine" planting method that ensures quality wines, aged in cellars dug into the tuffeau rock. The vineyards are located on a flinty clay terroir and offer a wide variety of grape varieties, including chenin, chardonnay, cabernet, pinot noir and the historic Vendôme grape: gris pineau d'Aunis. Located on the edge of the Loire, the cellars date from the ^15th century. This troglodytic place is specialized in the old vintages of the Loire Valley. There is an exceptional wine library as well as a selection of wines from Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Bourgueil and Amboise. Bruno Curassier, artisan winemaker for 25 years, warmly welcomes you to his superb estate located on the banks of the Cher, near the Château de Chenonceau. Discover his wine heritage in a large tasting room. We are very fond of the AOC Touraine Terroir de Chenonceau which is available in red, white, rosé and sparkling. The artisan winemaker takes care to respect the rhythm of nature. His mastery of pruning allows him to obtain high quality wines. They have been awarded several medals.

In the heart of the Loire Valley castles, this prestigious estate has been owned by the Duke of Choiseul and the Count of Chaptal. Today, Frédéric, Vincent and Willy, three passionate winegrowers, invite you to visit the vineyards and taste the AOC Montlouis, Touraine-Amboise and Touraine. All their products come from organic farming. Do not hesitate to visit the cellar but also the brewery, the three friends will share their passion and reveal some secrets of manufacture.

In this unusual cellar, François Chidaine offers winemaking styles that you won't find elsewhere. Biodynamic products, and wines from little-known, too little-known owners like Marc Angéli and his Anjou. Confidential" productions, necessarily limited in quantity, which also makes them rare. As for the wines of Domaine François Chidaine, the mellow wine is a reference. A whole range of wines produced in the respect of the environment and with a know-how resulting from the biodynamic agriculture!

A charming fine grocery store where the pleasure of meaning is in action. A fine selection of some 20 whiskies complements the desire to make full folies folies.

Located in Les Verchers-sur-Layon, 25 km from Saumur, Domaine Bodineau, a winegrowing nugget founded in 1850, unveils 28 hectares of pampered vines on schist slopes along the Layon river. Anne-Sophie and Frédéric open the doors of their estate all year round. Through guided tours, they share the family's winegrowing history, highlighting chenin, cabernet franc, chardonnay, sauvignon and grolleau. Free tastings provide an opportunity to sample such treasures as coteaux-du-layon and Fleur de Schiste.
