Streets squares and districts to visit Concarneau

Concarneau is a typical Breton city with many facets: marina, fishing port, remains of an old fortified town in the th and th centuries, coastal trails, beaches and coves of fine sand, walks are varied and can take you round to discover the architecture of the city and its wild and seductive natural sites. After your walks in Concarneau, the sea air will surely have opened your appetite, so to satisfy your snack, you will have to stop at one of the many restaurants in the city, and there is a great chance that you will recover from Concarneau.

A former «closed city», enclosed in thick walls, Concarneau has now opened up to the territory and tourism. Six interpretive circuits allow to wander around the city by discovering its history and main buildings. The themes are varied: Sardinians, Artists, Railwaymen, Vahics, Unusual closed city (shortest) and seaside promenade (longest).
