The village, 800 inhabitants and 7 locks, opens the doors of Puisaye, a picturesque region with its ponds, castles, gastronomy... But it is above all the structure from which it takes its name that deserves to be studied. Classified as a historical monument, the seven locks of Rogny on the Briare Canal represent a masterpiece of technology. Also worth seeing is the beautifully restored washhouse and the Saint-Loup church (partly 12th century) which dominates the site, decorated with a remarkable painting "Les Pèlerins d'Emmaüs" (1757).
