Located in a small alley in the heart of the historic center, the Caveau de Verdun offers a traditional atmosphere. The menu is rich in fish specialties such as the Verdun pôchouse with five fishes, the pike-perch filet with Crémant de Bourgogne or the famous frog legs, with a choice of parsley, cream or yellow wine. Robert and Alain took over this establishment in 2022, and have at heart to receive their customers in a family atmosphere. Here, one comes to eat local and spend a good time not far from the banks of the Saône.

La cuisine n'a rien à voir avec celle, excellente, de l'ancien propriétaire.
Escargots insuffisamment saisis. Pochouse lamentable qui n'a même pas pu être terminée.
Seul le fromage blanc était correct, même la crème brulée n'était pas chaude sur le dessus.

Pour mon anniversaire le 27 octobre , nous avons passé un excellent moment
au Caveau. Plats excellents , spiritueux aussi. Et un gérant fort sympathique.

La meilleure adresse du quartier, voire de la Bourgogne ???? Tout y est : plats succulents et copieux, service organisé et méticuleux, quant à l'ambiance... le mieux est de voir par vous-même ???? Mes amis lyonnais se sont régalés et un remerciement tout particulier au cuisinier qui m'a préparé un plat sur mesure à ma demande suite à des problèmes de santé de dernière minute malheureusement.. Et n'hésitez pas à visiter la cave en partant, Robert "The Best" vous expliquera tout, en connaisseur ????????
Hâte d'y retourner et de profiter cette fois-ci !!!
