Located in the village of Simandre, this place will allow you to appreciate the characteristic and nostalgic architecture of its ancient buildings. Béatrice and Philippe Charpentier welcome visitors for the cottage and cover, but also to inform, advise (including a competitor's address if the house is complete), a gold reception, as we say, which is already taken note only by sharing a coffee at the bar part of the bar.

The regulars have recognized local fumets, good smells that will discover tourists passing through: eggs in meurette, frogs'legs, laminated from snails to Burgundy marc, Bresse chicken to the morels, filet perch to white butter… and, for those that the land does not move, Saint James to whisky or pick of seafood.

After a moment of hesitation in front of the building similar to a bar lost in open countryside, the warm hospitality of the owners, in a rustic yet pleasant room, gives way to a hearty and delicacy. It will mainly be remembered that all served products are fresh and homemade (and not according to the new convenience of this title!). Include a choice of menus gourmet brands priding itself, a wine list of dishes offered by the chef and service as much professional than friendly. Special mention for the desserts that will satisfy the most insatiable stomachs. A runaway success for this local discovery!
