Beyond Paradise Beach, the road continues south along the eastern coast of Thassos. The landscapes are splendid along this jagged shoreline despite the fires that ravaged the pine trees of the area a few years ago. Soon the road leads to the small peninsula of Aliki, bordered by two beaches. The beach on the side of the archaeological site is the most beautiful and quiet, while the beach on the west side is lined with a few white tavernas with slate roofs. Between the two, the narrow strip of land is covered with pine and olive trees, while the overhang on the sea is home to one of the most beautiful archaeological sites.
