Travel Guide Oštra Luka

Oštra Luka/Оштра Лука (pronounced "ochtra louka") has about 800 inhabitants, all of whom are Bosnian-Serbs. It is the capital of the municipality of Oštra Luka (population 3,000) which is part of the Bosnian Serb Republic. The village is located 13 km north of Sanski Most and 17 km south of Prijedor. There are bus connections to Prijedor, Sanski Most and Banja Luka.The municipality of Oštra Luka is located in the valley of the Sana River, which runs up to Prijedor. It was established in 2004 on the northern edge of the municipality of Sanski Most, which was occupied in 1995. The village itself is not very interesting, except for the bullfights in summer.
