Dressed all in wood, this pretty room invites you to comfort yourself with a hot drink. Tea time is the busiest time of the year. Customers mingle in a room that's never empty. The drinks menu offers hot chocolate, black, white and green teas, as well as freshly-squeezed fruit. On the solid side, the choice is between homemade crepes and waffles, and for a lunch break there's pasta, savoury galettes, mixed salads and croque-monsieur. We love the smiling welcome and the terrace overlooking the Saône.

Le 88, located on Place aux Herbes, is the city's hottest spot. Momo's good humor is contagious. He always has the right words and ideas to make the place as convivial as possible. A modern dining room, a young clientele, a very large terrace. On tables or barrels, you can enjoy hearty tapas such as camembert persillé or a foie gras plank, followed by pizza, a burger or a generous salmon tartare. The evenings are often enlivened by live music.

Come to Le Voltaire for a relaxing break over a coffee, a creative cocktail, a draught beer or simply a glass of good Mâconnais or Côte Chalonnaise wine, accompanied by a tasty appetizer board. While the days at Le Voltaire are spent to the quiet rhythm of the sounds of the moment, the afterworks and evenings are more festive. On sunny days, the terrace is also a popular spot. And for special occasions, Le Voltaire offers its 200 m² for privatization.

As in Beaune and Chablis, a visit to the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne can't end without a tasting at the fully-glazed Bar des Découvertes, overlooking the Saône. Created in 2021 by Bastien and Aurélien, two enthusiasts who met at drama school, Kezaco is a theater café open all year round, with comedy plays, one-man shows and regular improvisation sessions, as well as children's shows and theater workshops. A true café-théâtre, where you can enjoy a drink, tapas and dessert before and after performances. A warm place dedicated to laughter and good humor, ideal for ending a day of sightseeing in style.

The café-théâtre can accommodate around 150 people. The café-théâtre website features a calendar of upcoming shows, including theater, improvisation, circus and concerts. You can also enjoy a glass of local produce. The café-théâtre also offers invitations and discounts for certain shows. To get to Kezaco Café-Théâtre, we recommend parking in the Rambuteau parking lot, which is close to Mâcon town center.
