It is the aquatic centre of Mâconnais Beaujolais Agglomération (MBA). This pole attracts numerous holiday-makers with its seven pools and it offers many activities: aquabike, aqua-baby, aquagym, etc. Some 10,000 m² lawn and 3,000 m² of open-air  beaches allow you to play or enjoy the sun. A sports field and a teenagers trail complete all this modern and functional equipment. Furthermore, there is a wellness area with spa.

Since 1994, Mâcon Centre de Gros Pêche has developed tourism in Val de Saône through fishing, exploiting in particular the richness of the Saône: the wells, which was introduced in the 1970 s. This association offers wells fishing trips over the Saône with a professional guide from mid-May to mid-October. Take a boat ride from Mâcon Marina. On a fully equipped boat, you discover the different fishing techniques with a specialist and the best corners of this river, which became mythical thanks to its record silures. The origin of the federation of Saône-et-Loire for fishing and protection of the aquatic environment dates back to 1942. With over 4 500 kilometres of rivers and canals, 1500 hectares of water, the Saône-et-Loire is one of the cradles of fishing in France. With a rich and diversified fish potential, the department offers multiple fishing opportunities.

Since 2020, during the summer months, the town of Mâcon and its tourist office have taken up the challenge of transforming the banks of the Saône into a water sports center. On the vast esplanade Lamartine, the Mâcon sur l'Ô operation offers rentals of pedalos, paddles and other watercraft. For the less sporty, a touring boat is available to tame the Saône. Rosalies, pedal go-karts and bicycles can also be rented for strolling along the banks. You're all set for a busy day discovering the city in a whole new way!
