Starred restaurant in Macon offering quality regional products, an authentic and inventive seasonal menu

This restaurant is an institution in Mâcon, and its Michelin star, acquired in 1997, has never left it. There's no doubt that the high standards set by the chef, Christian Gaulin, who is passionate about his profession and the quality of his products, have a lot to do with it. The menu changes with the seasons, combining authenticity and inventiveness. Regional products are given pride of place, and the chef doesn't hesitate to travel the length and breadth of France to enhance his menus. A wine list, presented by Isabelle, honors regional vintages. A fine address for all gourmets.

Un cadre élégant dans une pièce au plafond voûté , un service sympathique par du personnel affable , une table savoureuse ;
Un seul bémol ,le manque d'amablité et de sourire de la patronne , dont la qualité de l'accueil est inversement proportionnelle à la qualité de la cuisine de son époux......Dommage !

Une adresse à retenir : cuisine exceptionnelle et service de grande qualité. Ambiance très chic. Un bémol pour l'accueil qui nous a semblé un peu froid.
