San Lorenzo is a very small village that is beginning to open up to tourism, but has kept its strong authenticity. It is first of all a very beautiful beach ending with a promontory on which the lighthouse is enthroned and which can be accessed by a flight of stairs recently installed for tourism. The view is breathtaking, to the north on the Playa Botada, which is not very popular, and to the south on the beach of San Lorenzo. Things to do during your stay: try your hand at surfing with Yohan de Mambo, a walk in the rainforest of San Lorenzo to observe the monkeys, an excursion to the village of Pile, home of the best paja toquilla hat weavers.
