Located an hour from Bergen, this town of 25,000 inhabitants is interesting for its geographical location: with the Fusafjorden to the east, the Bjørnafjorden to the south and the Lysefjorden to the west, the skyline is extensive and at the same time protected by the islands and mountains that can be seen in the distance. If you go there, the museum of the Norwegian violinist and composer Ole Bull is on Lysøya, a small island on your way. To get there, you have to exit the E39 at Ulven and go to Buena, from where a free shuttle boat leaves in summer for the museum. In Os, the Norwegian Prime Minister Christian Michelsen built the Solstrand Hotel in 1896. We recommend it!
