It is the most western point of Spain. A granite promontory formed by a small peninsula that enters the sea for about 1 kilometre, with an isthmus 150 metres wide in its narrowest part. The whole is 93 m above the sea. To the north of this cape is a lighthouse, which has been warning of the dangers of the Atlantic since 1898. The coast is wild and inhospitable, but the view is spectacular. If you pass by in the autumn, you may be able to see many bird migrations. And in summer, if the tide is low, you will watch the Percebeiros, the barnacle fishermen who risk their lives in search of the precious bores.
