To the south of Noia, in the town of Porto do Son, this is a set of characteristic remains of the castro culture of the coast, dating from the 1st century BC. To get there: take the AC-550 from Noia to Porto do Son. About 5 km from Porto do Son there is a sign indicating "Castro de Baroña". Here you can park and take the path that leads to the deposit, next to a desert beach. Leaving Porto do Son, you can continue south to Corrubedo and its cape, which looks like a real finis terræ. Along the way, the dunes pass by until the long Ladeira beach, sheltered in a lunar setting.
