Pretty little village located on the road between Fort William and Inverness, Invergarry is more confidential and less frequented than its neighbors, Fort William in the distance, and Spean Bridge between them, or Fort Augustus, gateway to Loch Ness, which is only a few minutes away. However, there is a lot to do, including beautiful walks and hikes, more accessible and easier than the one that attracts the most people in the region: the climb of Ben Nevis. The city has its own castle: Invergarry Castle. It is in fact twofold: the old Invergarry Castle, a remnant of a castle located in the park of the very beautiful hotel called Glengarry Castle Hotel.
