This half-moon-shaped island is the site of the tomb of General Nami, famous for his military victories during the reign of King Sejo (1455-1468), but also for his early death at the age of 28. It has become a prime tourist attraction since the success of the Korean drama Winter Sonata. Its peacefulness is appreciated by Seoulites, who flock here at weekends (it's best to visit during the week). In autumn, the chestnut and poplar trees take on sumptuous golden-red hues. In addition to its magnificent natural surroundings, the area also offers a wide range of facilities (camping, swimming pool, water sports, etc.). Perfect for a getaway from it all... or almost. You'll find everything you need to eat and drink on site.
