Santa Verónica is a fishing village located in a palm-fringed bay between Barranquilla and Cartagena. Its beaches are popular with kite and wingsurf enthusiasts, who come from all over the world between December and April especially, during the windiest season, when 20-30 knots are guaranteed, and then in June-July with 15-25 knots on average. There are no less than five different spots for all levels, with constant wind and good waves. No need to come to kite between the end of August and November, ElVentilador is on break! There is accommodation for all budgets and several kite centers by the sea.
