The second-largest Romanesque civil architecture complex in Europe, located in Cluny.
Founded over 1100 years ago, Cluny was at the center of Christianity from the Middle Ages to the French Revolution. A wealth of buildings and remains remain from this past. Religious buildings, little streets and houses are steeped in history. By day or by night, the tourist office offers 1h30 guided tours of this magnificent medieval heritage: houses and buildings, of course, but also the wells and underground hydraulic system. The tourist office also offers guided tours on the theme of horses, the town's other main attraction.

Thanks to a super guide we could explore the city of medieval Cluny with its many Roman houses in front of which we passed without noticing them. City filled with jewels of architecture and history. Not to be missed when you want to take a dip in the past.
