The Cave de la Vigne blanche, established in Clessé since 1927, brings together the expertise of some 15 growers, who work on some 90 ha of vines. The winery produces two Crémants de Bourgogne (one pinot, the other chardonnay), as well as AOP mâcon-villages and viré-clessé. Regularly awarded medals, these wines can be tasted by the smiling store staff, who also offer wines from partners such as Vinsobres and Pouilly-Vinzelles.

La vigne blanche, a family wine cooperative on a human scale
A history of two villages, Viré & Clessé
It is in the heart of the Mâconnais, facing the Saône plain that the Cave de Clessé was born in 1927. It is in the middle of this idyllic setting, favourable to the blossoming of our vines, and where nature expresses itself fully, that our vintages prosper gently.
The cooperative cellar of Clessé is the result of an alliance between winegrowers concerned with improving the quality of their wine. Together, they contribute to the consecration of the cru.

En bouche, la texture est huileuse, avec un arrière-goût persistant, évoquant des saveurs qu'on préférerait ne jamais croiser dans un verre. La finale est longue, certes, mais pour les mauvaises raisons : elle laisse une empreinte gustative étrange, presque gênante, que même un bon fromage ne parvient pas à faire oublier.
Un vin qui, à défaut d’être réussi, ne laisse pas indifférent. Une bouteille à oublier… ou à servir à un ennemi
Nous avons demandé une dégustation,ce qui a semblé déranger la personne à l'accueil. Elle a ouvert une bouteille sans un mot, de ce fait nous sommes partis. Aucun respect des clients. C'est dommage, nous apprécions, votre vin.. Heureusement nous avons reçu u' très bon accueil ailleurs.
