The tourist office in the former convent of the Poor Clares is a veritable mine of information and a landmark for visitors to Charolles.

The former convent of the Poor Clares, a listed building dating back to the ^15th century, is still alive and kicking thanks to this beautiful tourist office, which hosts exhibitions of works by local artists. Throughout the year, it welcomes tourists and the curious to discover this pretty corner of the département and this historic town. A wealth of information is available on green walks, horseback rides and cycling tours, with topoguides of the Charolais region and surrounding area. Guided tours of the town are organized on Wednesdays in high season.

Opening time and information on TOURIST OFFICE

Open all year round. From November to March, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 2pm-5pm. In April and October, Monday to Friday 9:30am-12pm and 2pm-5pm. May, June and September, Tuesday to Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-5:30pm. July and August: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-5:30pm. City tour on Wednesdays from July 15 to August 31. Rates: €5/adults, €2.5 concessions and children aged 7 to 18.
