Kishiwada is a town located south of Ōsaka. It is particularly famous for its festival of danjiris. It is said that this festival has its origins in the Inari festival, organized in the 16th century by the lords of the city to pray for abundant harvests. Today, more than 34 danjiris, each representing a district, parade through the streets in September. Visitors can soak up the atmosphere of the festivities by visiting the Danji Museum
