Like the restaurant, the bar at Saint-Régis Bistrot is decorated in Art Deco style, a perfect reflection of the period in which it was built, at the beginning of the 20th century. Wood, velvet curtains and armchairs, subdued lighting: the atmosphere is pleasant. As the day progresses, you'll come here for a coffee, a tea-break, a glass of wine or a cocktail with friends, or to enjoy the café-concert on the last Thursday of the month. A menu of snacks and pastries is also available when the restaurant is closed.

Stayed here for one night on the drive down to the south of France. It was so easy to find and you can pull up at the front, grab the pre-printed parking instructions and you are parked in no time. Em on reception was delightful and even brought drinks up to our room as the bar was not yet open. The room had a lovely balcony and was immaculate. We took a stroll along the river had some great food, it’s a beautiful place with some cute shops and there was a mini carrefor just across from the hotel so we could stock up on snacks for the drive the next day. We wished we had booked two nights so we could enjoy Chalon more.

Un hôtel indépendant, joliment décoré. Une équipe serviable et chaleureuse. Un excellent petit déjeuner. (Sauf le Thé). Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est confortable.

Si la chambre a été repeinte, elle reste basique et sans aucun charme, le confort est sommaire et la moquette de bureau est étonnante. La climatisation asthmatique est complètement inefficace même aidée par le ventilateur à disposition dans la chambre. La salle de bain des années 80 (ou 70 ?) est clairement désuète, le linge de toilette élimé. Les produits Nuxe remontent légèrement le niveau.
