Chalon-sur-Saône is the place to be if you're just out for a stroll, or if you want to spend a week cruising the canals or the Saône. Many yachtsmen sail up or down the wide river, and enjoy stopping off in the city of Chalon. This pretty port is a haven of peace right in the center of town. Open all year round, it has around 150 berths and a water and electricity supply. Numerous services available at the harbor master's office.
