Travel Guide Winter Park

Less than two hours drive west of Denver, Winter Park is one of Colorado's most popular winter sports resorts. Less renowned on the international stage than Aspen and less chic than Telluride, the station is accessible and is required as the venue for a day getaway or weekend getaway. The area, for its part, covers 5 mountains and leads to all levels. The Mary Jane Summit is particularly famous for its steep slopes. In summer, there are many nature and sports activities (mountain bike, hiking…). The small complex of Winter Park Resort Village offers a selection of hotels, shops and spas. It does not have the charm of the historic downtowns of the region but has all the comforts necessary for a sporting stay on the mountain summits.
