A few kilometers from the hustle and bustle of Batu Ferringhi, Teluk Bahang is a typical village with a quiet beach. It offers a glimpse of what Penang was like before the development of tourism. The village is surrounded by tropical gardens that can be visited. It is also the starting point for Penang National Park. There are a few good beach restaurants, but in the evening, don't count on the atmosphere. Be sure to stop here if you rent a car for a tour of the island.Bus 101 runs between Georgetown and Teluk Bahang from 5.30 a.m. to midnight. Departures every 10 minutes. Cost: RM4. rM80 by cab.
